FROM THE CATS
Jason Mansfield, K-State Head Coach
Overall thoughts…
"Incredible atmosphere today, I continue to be amazed with the support we get for our home matches. I love the way we battled in the second and fourth sets. We know we can play with that team from our earlier match, so I felt good going into today. We scouted them well and played with a lot of passion. It came down to making one more play to push it to the fifth set, which would've been exciting. Aliyah carried us for most of the match until Aniya got going and then they both took a lot of great swings to keep us in it."

On Carter's career milestone…
"Aliyah getting her 2,000th point is pretty special, I'm glad it happened at home where the crowd could see it and celebrate it with her. She's meant so much to this program the last five years, it's going to be tough to see her and the other seniors play their final match Friday."
