Wildcats Host Four Teams in K-State Invitational

K-State will host for the first time since 2020
MANHATTAN, Kan.- The K-State women's tennis team starts fall competition by hosting the K-State Invitational starting Friday (Sept. 20) through Sunday (Sept. 22) at Mike Goss Tennis Stadium.
The Wildcats will host the women's teams from Arkansas, Iowa State, South Florida and Wichita State. This is the first time K-State will host a tournament since the 2020-21 season, and the third time since 2013.
Competition begins on Friday with two rounds of doubles matches starting at 9 a.m. CT before one round of singles matches beginning at 12 p.m.
This will be the first time competing in Manhattan for two transfers, junior Sana Garakani and sophomore Zali Morris and freshman Zhanel Rustemova.
While competing at home, two Wildcats—sophomores Charlotte Keitel and Tereza Polakova—will be competing in the International Tennis Association (ITA) All-American Championship in Cary, N.C., starting on Saturday at Cary Tennis Park.
