The K-State women's tennis team continues their home stretch at Body First Tennis Center on Saturday (Feb. 1) facing Wichita State at 12 p.m.
The Wildcats (2-0) are 5-4 all time against the Shockers (1-3), winning 3 of the last 4 matches in Manhattan.
Last season, playing in Wichita, Kan., K-State was victorious 5-2, with sophomores Charlotte Keitel, Tereza Polakova and junior Maria Santos all successful in their match ups.
WSU's Xin Tong Wang was ranked no. 62 in the latest singles ITA rankings from December 3, while going 0-2 to start the spring.
The Cats started the season on January 25 with a double header against Drake, sweeping both matches, 7-0 and 4-0, over the Bulldogs.
K-State will end their three-match stretch in Manhattan on Feb. 9, facing Kentucky at 10 a.m.
