CAREER: A strong player who is regarded as one of the best and most versatile offensive linemen in the Big 12, while he turned into one of the top offensive linemen in school history... A four-time All-Big 12 honoree who started 51 of his 52 career games, including a streak of 41 straight to end his career... Helped K-State accumulate a 34-18 record, a Big 12 Championship in 2012 and four-straight bowl berths.

2015: Started all 13 games at left tackle en route to First Team All-Big 12 honors, the first first-team honor of his career... Helped K-State rank second nationally in red zone offense (94.5-percent) and 18th in passing yards per completion (14.12)... Also helped the Wildcats rush for 29 touchdowns, which was just one shy of entering the school’s top-10 list... Blocked for six rushing touchdowns against TCU, which was tied for the fourth most in school history... Named a team captain... Earned First Team Academic All-Big 12 honors.

2014: Started every game at left tackle en route to Second Team All-Big 12 honors from both the league’s coaches and the Associated Press... Also a member of the Outland Trophy and Lombardi Award watch lists... Helped K-State tally 30 rushing touchdowns – the 10th most in school history – while the Wildcat offense ranked in the top 25 nationally in nine categories, including top-20 marks in team passing efficiency (11th), red zone offense (14th) and passing offense (16th).

2013: Started every game in 2013 en route to Second Team All-Big 12 honors from the league’s coaches and Phil Steele... A Midseason All-Big 12 honoree by Phil Steele.

2012: Played in every game with 12 starts on his way to Honorable Mention All-Big 12 honors from the league’s coaches... Named a Freshman All-American by Phil Steele and to the ESPN.com All-Big 12 team... Started the season opener at right tackle before starting nine-straight at left guard and finishing up the regular season at right tackle.

2011: Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year letterwinner at Abilene High under head coach Jeff Geist... Named to the All-Kansas Top-11 Team by the Kansas Football Coaches Association (KFBCA) and Varsity Kansas... Also earned All-Kansas 4A honors from the KFBCA and Varsity Kansas... Named to PrepStar magazine’s All-Midlands Region team... Had 140 pancake blocks and recorded 81 total tackles (41 solo, 40 assisted) with 15 sacks during his senior season... Helped lead the Cowboys to a combined 31-11 record in four seasons... Played with current Wildcat wide receiver Collin Sexton and former receiver Curry Sexton.

PERSONAL: Cody Michael Whitehair was born July 11, 1992, in Kearney, Nebraska... Son of Kevin Whitehair and RaeLyn Swisher, both of whom attended K-State... Has one sibling, Courtney... Majoring in sociology.
