for the Eagles under head coach Claude Mathis... Rated the 30th-best
defensive tackle nationally by Rivals.com, while he was rated 35th by
ESPN and 40th by Scout.com... Helped DeSoto earn a 10-2 record and reach
the second round of the Texas 6A D1 playoffs as he carded 56 tackles,
14 tackles for loss, six sacks and three forced fumbles... Named the
2014 District 8-6A co-Defensive Player of the Year as well as earning
honorable mention all-state honors from the Texas Associated Press
Sports Editors and all-area honors from the Dallas Morning News...
Recorded 71 tackles, including 5.5 sacks as a junior... Selected to play
in the 2015 Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl in Carson, California, as
well as the U-19 International Bowl between Team USA and Canada Football
in Arlington, Texas.
