AT ANDALE HIGH SCHOOL: A three-year starter for the Indians under head coach Gary O’Hair, including his senior season when Andale went 13-0 and won a state championship… Finished his career with 117 tackles and seven interceptions, helping Andale go 33-3 during that span… Also recorded 3,832 rushing yards in his career… Named one of the top 11 players in the state of Kansas and to the All-Class 4A-II team by the Wichita Eagle… Also an all-metro selection by the Wichita Eagle and an all-state selection by the Topeka Capital-Journal… Also lettered all four years in basketball, earning all-state honors.
