Kansas State University Athletics

Football Parking

Football parking lots open five hours prior to kickoff. Parking in both the east and west stadium lots is reserved for members of the Ahearn Fund and requires a permit for entry, which must be displayed at all times.

Non-reserved public parking is available in satellite lots surrounding the stadium and other paved lots on campus. Vehicles parking in standard stalls including any attached accessories must not exceed a maximum stall length of 21-feet and maximum width of 8-feet, 6-inches. Vehicles with pull-behind trailers and pull-behind smokers are prohibited.

Parking for RV’s, buses and vehicles with camper trailers is limited to designated reserved parking stalls in the east and west stadium lots. Due to space limitations RV’s must not exceed a maximum stall width of 11-feet, 6-inches and a maximum stall length of 55-feet.

Paid parking ($30 – Credit/debit payment only) for fans with disabilities is available on a first-come, first-served basis in both the east and west stadium lots. To gain entry, guests must pay the standard parking fee, display a state-issued accessible license plate or hangtag and present a disability card along with a form of government issued personal identification. The individual to whom the hangtag or license plate was issued to must be in the vehicle.

K-State Athletics has transitioned to entirely cashless payment systems throughout its venues. This includes the ticket office, concessions, parking, Rally House locations and other points of sale in our facilities. Fans can use traditional credit/debit card payment methods. Cash and checks will not be accepted.

K-State Athletics Season Parking

K-State Athletics is proud to offer two premium parking options in the west and east lots of Bill Snyder Family Stadium to members of the Ahearn Fund: Reserved and VIP. Reserved parking is a numbered stall and requires a minimum $1,000 Ahearn Fund contribution. VIP parking is first come, first serve within a reserved lot and requires a minimum $500 Ahearn Fund contribution. Limited RV parking is offered and requires a minimum $1,000 Ahearn Fund contribution.

The process to obtain or make changes to an existing parking pass occurs during the online seat and parking upgrade process for season ticket holders in the spring. Due to high demand, parking passes are limited to the number of season tickets on your account: 1-4 season tickets = 1 parking pass, 5-8 season tickets = 2 parking passes, and so on.

Ahearn Fund contributions made for priority seating count toward the minimum contribution required for your first parking pass. An additional $500 contribution (VIP) or $1,000 contribution (Reserved) is required for each additional parking pass beyond your first.

For questions about season parking, please contact the Ahearn Fund at 888-232-9074 or ahearnfund@kstatesports.com.

Tailgating

Tailgating is a traditional part of K-State game-day activities. Guests are asked to comply with the following guidelines:

  • Saving or use of adjoining stalls without having adjoining reserved stalls is prohibited. Saving parking stalls in VIP areas is prohibited. To park and tailgate together, guests must arrive together.
  • Tailgates with excessive numbers of attendees, interfering with adjacent tailgates or blocking drive lanes, may be asked to shut down.
  • Music should be confined to your tailgate area. The volume of portable sound systems must be played at a level that doesn’t interfere with other tailgates in adjoining areas. If complaints are received by parking personnel, the volume of the sound system must be reduced.
  • Bands, DJs, and other live performances are not allowed at tailgating sites.
  • Pop-up canopies may be erected immediately in front or behind a vehicle in a reserved stall. Canopies may not be anchored to asphalt by any piercing device or secured to stone walls or parking barricades. Canopies should be taken down in windy conditions. Owners are responsible for damage caused by wind-blown canopies.
  • Fans may not displace or remove barricades, dumpsters, signs, porta-potties or any other parking lot items.
  • No objects (vehicle, pop-up canopy, tables, chairs, grills, etc.) may be placed or encroach in the Emergency Access Lane.
  • Open wood fires and campfires are prohibited.
  • After use, coals should be extinguished and disposed of in the red “Hot Coals” barrels.
  • Use of portable generators is limited to quiet units or those in soundproof boxes. Loud generators or those that emit offensive fumes may not be used and must be turned off upon request.
  • The use of flares and fireworks is prohibited.
  • Long-toss games with balls or Frisbees are prohibited.
  • Overhead objects (flags, kites, balloons) must be properly secured.
  • Drones, model aircraft or any other remote-controlled flying objects are not permitted or allowed to be operated inside Bill Snyder Family Stadium or the surrounding parking lots.
  • Golfcarts, ATVs, and other motorized vehicles are not permitted on K-State Athletics property. In addition, the use of bicycles, skateboards, in-line skates, scooters, motorized scooters and unauthorized golf carts is prohibited.
  • In accordance with University policy, persons may only possess alcoholic beverages for their own personal consumption. Athletics Department staff, in conjunction with University Police, will determine whether quantities are more than amounts for personal consumption. Alcohol containers with capacity in-excess of one gallon are not permitted.  Consumption of alcohol must take place from cups or cans – no glass containers.
  • Patrons consuming alcoholic beverages at tailgates are responsible for their conduct and that of their guests.
  • Overnight parking is restricted to reserved RV parking with purchased overnight pass.
  • University policy prohibits solicitation of any unauthorized item for sale, trade or giveaway on the grounds of the K-State Sports Complex. This includes solicitation of charitable donations and game or event tickets. Violators of the policy will be asked to leave the parking lots and may be cited for trespassing.
  • Use of personal portable porta-potties is strictly prohibited.
  •  K-State Athletics is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. Fans are encouraged to lock personal belongings inside their vehicle when they enter the stadium.

The donor of record will be responsible for any use of their stall by others who are in violation of stated rules and regulations. RV rules and regulations are applicable to everyone using an RV pass and parking on the premises.
  • Reserved RV stalls may not be used for the purpose of large group gatherings (50 people or more), corporate functions or charity fundraising.

Gameday Shuttle

The K-State Student Union, Housing and Dining Services and K-State Campus Store are partnering to provide free shuttle rides to Bill Snyder Family Stadium on home football game days. The shuttle begins two hours prior to kickoff from the south circle on M.L.K. Jr., Drive, between the K-State Parking Garage and the Union. Passengers will be dropped off near the Jardine Plaza Neighborhood. Return trips resume with five minutes remaining in the third quarter, and rides will continue until approximately one hour after the end of the game.

Rideshare Zones

K-State Athletics has designated rideshare pickup/dropoff zones along College and Kimball Avenues for commercial services such as Uber, Lyft, taxis and limousines.
Pregame: Rideshare operators may drop off fans at the College Ave. area outside Tointon Family Stadium. This location best serves fans seated on the west side of Bill Snyder Family Stadium. The Kimball Ave., location is outside the Vanier Football Complex on the north side of the stadium. This area provides access to both the east and west sides of the stadium. The Denison Ave. area location outside Mike Goss Tennis Stadium provides access to the East side of Bill Snyder Family Stadium
Postgame: Rideshare operators may pick up fares at these three locations after exiting traffic from the stadium parking lots has subsided. Drivers may stage for pickup beginning at the end of the third quarter until exiting traffic control is established by law enforcement. After that, vehicles will not be allowed into the area of the Sport Complex until exiting traffic is concluded, generally 45 minutes to 1 hour after the game has ended. Once exiting traffic is clear, drivers may resume accepting fares as normal. Fans using rideshare services are reminded of the K-State Clear Bag Policy.
