Played for the Amarillo (Texas) Sod Squad of the Texas Collegiate League ... Appeared in 11 games and posted a slash line of .200/.243/.314 ... Put together a five-game hitting streak from July 10-26, including a 2-for-4 effort with a double against the Sod Dogs on July 26 ... Went 1 for 1 in the season finale on August 6 against Tulsa and lifted his first homer of the season on July 24 in a 13-4 victory over the Sod Dogs ... The Sod Squad finished the regular season 21-9 and claimed the North Division title.
