HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered three years at Abilene High under head coach Jeff Geist... Helped lead the Cowboys to a 10-1 record in 2011 and a spot in the Kansas 4A State playoffs... Earned all-conference and Kansas 4A all-state honors on both offense and defense during his junior and senior seasons... Set the school’s single-season and career receptions, receiving yards and touchdown receptions records... Hauled in 51 catches for 924 yards and 10 touchdowns as a senior, including a pair of seven-catch, 135-yard efforts... Also rushed 14 times for 104 yards... Excelled on defense as well by carding 129 tackles and picking off eight passes, including three in a game against Marysville... Selected to play in the 2012 Kansas Shrine Bowl... PERSONAL: Collin David Sexton was born October 18, 1993, in Abilene, Kansas... Son of Ted and Jan Sexton, both of whom attended K-State... Has one sister, Sadie, and one brother, Curry, who finished a four-year career as a wide receiver for the Wildcats in 2014... Uncle, John Dorsey, is the General Manager of the Kansas City Chiefs... A marketing major.
