CAREER: Saw action in 48 games over four seasons with a pair of starts... Started his career seeing time primarily on special teams, but contributed as a member of the rotation at linebacker his final two seasons... A two-time First Team Academic All-Big 12 performer.
2022: Played in 14 games, which included a start against Oklahoma State... Finished ninth on the team with 34 tackles to go along with a half tackle for loss... Tied his career high with 10 tackles at TCU... Also had eight stops in his start against the Cowboys... Intercepted his first-career pass against Missouri, teaming with Daniel Green to have linebackers with picks in the same game for the first time since 2015... Earned Academic All-District honors from College Sports Communicators, while he was a First Team Academic All-Big 12 performer.

Earned first team all-state honors as a senior from the KFBCA, Topeka Capital-Journal and Wichita Eagle, while he was an honorable mention pick from the latter two organizations as a junior... Named the 2017 Eastern Kansas League (EKL) Defensive Player of the Year after totaling 151 tackles, 21 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks... Also named a First Team All-Metro performer by the Kansas City Star and was a finalist for the Buck Buchanan Award as the most outstanding lineman or linebacker among big-class schools in the Kansas City area.
PERSONAL: Nicholas Randall Allen was born November 5, 1999, in Olathe, Kansas... Son of Dave and Mellissa Allen... Obtained his undergraduate degree from K-State in finance in May 2022 and is currently working on his MBA.
