Played in a career-high 28 games with one start and registered 62 minutes of action... Scored 18 points (0.6 ppg) and shot 5-of-10 (.500) from beyond the arc... Tallied four points and a rebound off the bench against Chicago State (11/11)... Notched five points against Baylor (1/25).

REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2015-16)
Saw action in a career-high 26 games with 185 minutes played (7.1 mpg)... Averaged 1.8 points and 0.7 rebounds... Dished out a career-high eight assists and pocketed a career-best six steals... Tied her career-high with 17 rebounds... Drained a three-pointer and tied her career-high with three rebounds against Abilene Christian... Notched four points off the bench in five minutes at Connecticut (11/23)... Recorded five points and three rebounds in 16 minutes off the bench against Southern (11/25)... Tallied seven points, including 2-of-2 from beyond the arc, and two rebounds against Florida Atlantic (12/13)... Drained a three and pocketed a steal against TCU (1/16)... Played in 17 games with 43 minutes of action off the bench... Pulled in six rebounds and scored three points... Made her season debut on Dec. 20 against Grambling State and recorded three points, three rebounds and a steal in seven minutes off the bench.

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2013-2014)
Tore the ACL in her left knee on Feb. 10; missed the remainder of season... Played in 19 games with one start and saw action in 176 minutes (9.3 mpg)... Averaged 2.7 points (51 points) and 0.9 rebounds (17 rebounds)... Came off the bench to make her career debut against Tennessee State (11/8) and record five points, two rebounds, two assists and one steal in 18 minutes... Led K-State with a career-high 15 points and three rebounds at UTEP (11/16)... Connected on 5-of-12 from beyond the arc against the Miners... Tallied a 4-of-9 effort from behind the 3-point line against Grambling State (12/7) for 14 points off the bench.

Missed the 2012-13 season after tearing her ACL during one of the team's first practices in early October.

Named 2012 All-State All-Classes first team... 2012 All-State Class 3A first team recipient... 2012 All-Flint Hills first team... Named to the 2012 All-Mid-East League first team... Played in the 2012 KBCA All Star Game... Scored just over 1,208 career points to rank second in school history... Set the school record for 3-point field goals made with 192... Set the school record for career free throw percentage (.800)... Began her senior season as a Sporting News High School All-America honorable mention selection... Finished her senior season with 17.5 points per game, 4.5 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 2.7 steals... Thomson averaged 15.4 points which included 56 connections from the 3-point line in her junior season. Also pulled in 5.1 rebounds and dished out 3.1 assists while helping Riley County to a 21-3 record... Following her junior campaign, named to the All-State Class 3A first team, the first team of the All-Mid-East League, the Flint Hills Player of the Year and the All-Flint Hills team Year by the Manhattan Mercury.

PERSONAL
Born Dec. 28, 1993... Daughter of Cindy and Dan Thomson... Father is The Jones Professor of Production Medicine and Epidemiology and Director of the Beef Cattle Institute at Kansas State's College of Veterinary Medicine. He has served as the OIE Chair of Beef Cattle Production and Welfare and was recently asked to serve on the Food Marketing Institute's Animal Welfare Advisory Board.... Kelly has three siblings: Katelyn, Tory and Sarah... Major is nutritional sciences/nutrition & health.
