Liliom Big 12 Player of the Week

The Wildcats also played Cal State Bakersfield earlier in the week to bring Liliom’s total for four matches to 67 kills (4.79 kps) at a .272 hitting percentage. It is the second consecutive offensive player of the week award for K-State after middle blocker Kelsey Chipman received the honor last week.
During the Varney’s Invitational, Liliom helped lead the Wildcats to the win with victories over NCAA Tournament teams
She led the entire Big 12 in points per set with 5.57. Her 4.79 kps paced the conference as well.
Liliom and the rest of the Wildcats host No. 2 Nebraska in their first conference match of the season at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Ahearn Field House. Fans are encouraged to help “Keep the Red Out” and stick around to watch the Kansas State-Louisville football game afterward as the contest will be shown on projection screens without commercials following the volleyball match.
