MANHATTAN, Kansas - Kansas State will end its season-opening three-game home stand on Friday night at 5:30 p.m., as the Wildcats host Florida A&M.

• Friday night's game can be seen live and for free on K-StateHD.TV, as Brian Smoller (play-by-play) and Kristin Waller (color analyst) will call the action.
• K-State will look to start a season 3-0 for the fourth straight season and the 25th time in program history.
• The Wildcats used a balanced effort to defeat Omaha on Monday, 81-60. K-State has now started 2-0 for the seventh straight season.
• K-State had all nine players that saw the floor score, with four of the five starters reaching double figures. As a team, K-State shot 54.4 percent (31-of-57) from the field, the highest field goal percentage for K-State since Jan. 2, 2017 against West Virginia.
• The Wildcats were led by freshman Rachel Ranke with 20 points on 7-of-13 shooting, including 6-of-12 from beyond the arc.
• Joining Ranke in double figures were junior Kayla Goth and seniors Kaylee Page and Shaelyn Martin. Goth carded 16 points on 5-of-7 shooting, nine assists with one turnover and four steals. Her nine assists were a new career-high and her four steals tied her career-best.
• Page reached double figures for the second straight game with 13 points, six rebounds, two assists and two blocks. This was the third time in Page's career that she reached double figures in consecutive games.
• Martin finished within a whisper of K-State's first triple-double since the 2008-09 season, as she tallied 12 points, nine rebounds and eight assists with zero turnovers. This was Martin's fourth career game with 10 or more points, five or more rebounds and five or more assists.

• The 12 connections were the most since K-State tallied 14 against Florida Atlantic on Dec. 13, 2015.

• K-State (12) and Omaha (13) tied a K-State school record for combined 3-point field goals made with 25, matching the Dec. 20, 2002 game between K-State and Western Michigan.

• Last season, K-State scored 70 or more points in a game 13 times (11-2). This marked the second most games in the last 12 seasons with 70 or more points.

Three is not a Crowd, It's a Benefit
• Since 2011-12, when three or more players reach double figures in scoring in the same game, K-State is 77-40 (.658).
• K-State has had three or more players reach double figures in the same game twice this season (2-0).
• The Wildcats had a season-high four players reach double figures against Omaha on Nov. 13.

Wildcats Solid From Beyond the Arc
• K-State has started the 2017-18 season by shooting an efficient 40.9 percent from 3-point range (18-of-44) which includes 9.0 made 3-point field goals per game. Kansas State is scoring  34.8 percent (54 points) of its points from beyond the arc this season.
• Kansas State registered a season-high 12 connections from beyond the arc against Omaha on Nov. 13. This was the second-most 3-point field goals made in the Jeff Mittie era and the most since Dec. 13, 2016 against Florida Atlantic when the Wildcats made 14.
• K-State has made five or more 3-pointers in a game twice (2-0) this season. In the Jeff Mittie era, the Wildcats have made five or more 3-pointers in a game 72 times in 101 total games.
• In three-plus seasons under Mittie, K-State has buried 608 three-pointers which is 6.0 per game.
• The Wildcats have made 175 or more 3-point field goals in 16 of the last 17 seasons.  
• K-State has made at least one 3-point field goal in 342 consecutive games, dating back to Feb. 7, 2007.

Sharing is Caring
• Kansas State has opened the season with 21.5 assists per game (43 total assists) and own a 1.7 assist to turnover ratio. The Wildcats have recorded an assist on 43 of K-State's 55 made field goals this season (78.2 percent).
• K-State dished out 24 assists on 31 made field goals (77.4 percent) against Omaha on Nov. 13, the most since handing out 24 at Iowa State on Feb. 24, 2016. This was the second game this season with assists on 70 percent or more of the made field goals, as the Wildcats tallied 19 assists on 24 made field goals against Stephen F. Austin (79.2 percent).
• The Wildcats are 52-1 when handing out 20 or more assists over the last 12 years.
• In the 2016-17 season, K-State handed out 14.7 assists per game (500 total assists) and owned a 1.0 assist to turnover ratio. K-State ranked fifth in the Big 12 in assists per game and third in league only games (14.1 apg).
• This was the first season since 2005-06 that K-State handed out 500 or more assists. This marked the seventh time in program history that K-State registered 500 or more assists in a season.
• K-State dished out an assist on 61.1 percent of its made field goals this season, including nine games with assists on 70 percent or more of the made field goals which includes a season-high of 84.6 percent against TCU on Jan. 18.
• K-State registered a season-high of 22 assists against TCU on Jan. 18 and at Iowa State on Jan. 21. The Wildcats had four games with 20 or more assists.
• K-State's roster featured three players with 100 or more assists this season - Karyla Middlebrook (106), Shaelyn Martin (102) and Kindred Wesemann (100). The trio was responsible for 61.6 percent of K-State's assists and just 42.0 percent of the turnovers.
• This is the first time since the 2002-03 season that K-State  had at least three players with 100 or more assists in a season.

Ranke with Range    
• Freshman guard Rachel Ranke made her first career collegiate start a memorable one on Nov. 13 against Omaha.
• Ranke finished with a game-high 20 points on 7-of-13 shooting, including a 6-of-12 effort from 3-point range. She also notched two rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal in 37 minutes of action.
• The six 3-pointers by the Burnsville, Minnesota, native are the most by a K-State freshman since Laurie Koehn registered six against Missouri on Feb. 27, 2002.
• Overall, Ranke is the first Wildcat to make six or more 3-point field goals in a game since Kindred Wesemann against Oklahoma on Feb. 9, 2016.
• In her first season in Manhattan, Ranke is averaging 15.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.0 steals, 1.5 assists and 1.5 blocks.

New Season, New Goth    
• Junior guard Kayla Goth has taken on the point guard role for K-State to begin the 2017-18 season.
• In the season-opener against Stephen F. Austin, Goth registered a diverse stat line of 11 points, five rebounds, four assists, two steals and one block. This was her third career game with 10 or more points and five or more rebounds.
• Goth followed up her performance in the season-opener with 16 points, nine assists with one turnover, four steals, two rebounds and one block against Omaha.
• For the season, the native of DeForest, Wisconsin, is averaging 13.5 points on a .750 field goal percentage, 3.5 rebounds, 6.5 assists, 3.0 steals and 1.0 blocks.
• In her 12 career starts, Goth is averaging 9.5 points on a .518 field goal percentage including a .333 three-point field goal percentage. She also is averaging 3.1 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.4 steals in 26.1 minutes.
• In the 2016-17 season, Goth was sixth on the team in scoring (5.8 ppg) and third in field goal percentage (.437; 73-of-167). She registered the first eight double figure scoring efforts of her career last season.
• Goth set career season-highs in points (191), field goals made (73), 3-point field goals made (17), free throws made (28), assists (50) and steals (30).
