MANHATTAN, Kansas - Kansas State ends a two-game home stand on Wednesday, as the Wildcats host Lamar at 7 p.m., in Bramlage Coliseum.

• Wednesday's game can be seen live on FCS - Central and for free at K-StateHD.TV, as Brian Smoller (play-by-play), Missy Heidrick (color analyst) and Anna Christianson (sideline) will have the call.  
• K-State opened the month of December with a 72-61 win over Vanderbilt in the 2018 SEC/Big 12 Challenge. The Wildcats shot 50.0 percent or better in three of the four quarters against the Commodores.
• The Wildcats boosted their offensive effort with an 11-of-22 performance from beyond the arc. The 11 connections were a season-high and the most since Feb. 26, 2018, when K-State made 12 three-pointers at Texas Tech. This was the 14th time K-State made 10 or more 3-point field goals in a game under head coach Jeff Mittie.  
• Kansas State featured four players in double figures and was led for the second straight game by freshman Christianna Carr and junior Peyton Williams.
• Carr tallied her second straight game with 20 or more points, as she finished with 21 points on 7-of-16 shooting including a career-high 5-of-11 effort from 3-point range. Over the last two games, Carr is averaging 21.5 points on a .438 field goal percentage.
• Williams turned in her third double-double of the season with 16 points on 7-of-11 shooting with 14 rebounds, three steals and two assists.
• For the season, Williams leads K-State with 14.3 points and 9.2 rebounds per game. She also leads the team in field goal percentage (.614). She is second in blocks (8), assists (18) and steals (10).

• The Cardinals are guided by sixth year head coach Robin Harmony. The 1984 graduate of Miami (Fla.) owns a career mark of 96-64 (.600) in her time with Lamar. In the 2018 season, Harmony led the program to a 22-8 overall record, an appearance in the WNIT and the Southland Conference regular season title.
• On the floor, Lamar is led by senior guards Moe Kinard and Chastadie Barrs.
• Kinard is averaging 20.4 points and 4.3 rebounds. Earlier this season, Kinard set the NCAA Division I record for 3-point field goals made in a game with 13. Against Texas A&M, Kinard tallied 15 points and seven rebounds.
• Barrs is second on the team with 15.5 points and 5.4 rebounds, while pacing the Cardinals in assists at 4.3 per game. Barrs, a Lieberman Award candidate, led Lamar against Texas A&M with 23 points, seven rebounds, four assists and four steals.

• In the 50th year of women's basketball at K-State, the Wildcats own a record of 221-93 (.704) in the month of December.
• Under head coach Jeff Mittie, K-State is 20-8 (.714) in the month of December.
• K-State has had a .500 or better record in the month of December 44 times in its history, including a current streak of 24 consecutive seasons.

• Over the last two seasons, Kansas State has used an opportunistic defense to create additional offensive chances.

Wildcats Solid From Beyond the Arc
• Kansas State registered a season-high 11 connections from beyond the arc against Vanderbilt on December 2. This was the first time this season K-State tallied 10 or more 3-point field goals made.
• In the Jeff Mittie era, the Wildcats have made five or more 3-pointers in a game 101 times in 140 total games including 14 games with 10 or more connections from deep (12-2).
• In the five seasons under Mittie, K-State has buried 851 three-pointers which is 6.1 per game.
• K-State has made at least one 3-point field goal in 381 consecutive games, dating back to Feb. 7, 2007.
• In the 2017-18 season, K-State shot .308 percent from 3-point range (225-of-731) which included 6.6 made 3-point field goals per game. Kansas State scored 29.2 percent (675 points; 0.92 points/attempt) of its points from beyond the arc. K-State ranked fifth in the Big 12 in 3-point field goals made per game.
• The Wildcats made 225 three-point field goals in the 2017-18 season, which were the seventh-most 3-point field goals made in a season in school history. Kansas State has made 175 or more 3-point field goals in 17 of the last 18 seasons. This was the 11th time in program history K-State has made 200 or more 3-pointers in a season.
• K-State's 731 attempts from 3-point range were the second-most in program history, trailing only the Big 12 and school record for attempts at 1,077 during the 2012-13 season.

New Carr    
• Freshman guard Christianna Carr has improved her scoring and shooting over the last four games for the Wildcats.
• Over the last four games, Carr is averaging 14.8 points on a 37.7 percent field goal percentage.
• Against Princeton, Carr achieved a career-high 22 points on 7-of-16 shooting including 4-of-8 from beyond the arc.
• Against Vanderbilt, she carded her second straight 20-point game with 21 points on 7-of-16 shooting including a career-best 5-of-11 from 3-point range.
• She is the first K-State freshman since Rachel Ranke in the 2017-18 season to register consecutive games of 20 or more points.
• In her first season in Manhattan, Carr is averaging 11.9 points 1.9 three-point field goals made and 2.9 rebounds. She ranks 20th in the Big 12 in scoring and sixth among the league's freshmen.

Goth Giveth
• Senior guard Kayla Goth was a record-setting distributor in her first full season as the team's point guard in the 2017-18 season and has continued this role into the 2018-19 season.
• In the first seven games of her final season, Goth has dished out 44 assists. She ranks tied for second in the Big 12 and ranked 17th in the nation for assists per game (6.3).
• Against Vanderbilt, Goth handed out a season-high nine assists, which marked her fifth game this season with five or more assists. For her career, she has 33 career games with five or more assists.
• In her career, Goth ranks second in program history for assist-to-turnover ratio (1.80). She is the 10th player in program history with 350 or more assists, as she has compiled 358 assists in her career and ranks 10th in program history for career assists.
• In the 2017-18 season, Goth handed out a career single-season high 226 assists (6.6 apg) with just 115 turnovers (1.97 assist to turnover ratio). She led the Big 12 and was ninth in the nation in total assists and 11th in assists per game. She also led the Big 12 in double figure assist games with six.
• According to herhoopstats.com, Goth ranks third in the nation with an assist rate of 43.5 percent (assist rate defined: percentage of teammate field goals assisted on while on the court).
• According to Stats, Inc., Goth led the nation in 2017-18 with the largest increase in both total assists (+176) and assists per game (+5.1 apg) from 2016-17 to 2017-18.
• Goth was the second player in program history to hand out 200 or more assists in a single season. Her 226 assists in 2017-18 rank second in school history for assists in a single season, the most assists by a K-State junior and 11th in the Big 12 record book.
• Goth was the first K-State player to hand out 10 or more assists in five or more games in a season since Shalee Lehning in the 2008-09 season (10 games). She is third in school history for career double figure assist games (6).
• Against Kansas, Goth dished out a career-high and team season-high 12 assists. She ranks tied for sixth in program history for assists in a game. The 12 assists were the most by a Wildcat since the 2008-09 season.
