Cats Trek to Morgantown for Midweek Matchup

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Entering the second week of Big 12 play, K-State seeks its first conference win as it meets West Virginia Wednesday at 5 p.m. CT at the WVU Coliseum in Morgantown, West Virginia.
K-State (10-3, 0-2 Big 12), who is receiving votes in the latest AVCA Top 25 for the third consecutive week, is coming off a three-set loss at Oklahoma last Friday night and have suffered consecutive losses for the first time this season. West Virginia (7-7, 0-2 Big 12) is also looking for its first conference win after falling to Iowa State and Texas Tech to begin its league slate.
The Wildcats lead the all-time series with WVU, 8-4, dating back to 2012 when the Mountaineers joined the Big 12. West Virginia swept the season series a year ago for the first time in the series' history. K-State is 4-2 all-time in Morgantown.
