MANHATTAN, Kansas - For the first time since 2012 and the 12th time overall, K-State will compete in the Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball Championships in Kansas City at Municipal Auditorium. K-State, the number five seed, will face Iowa State at 11 a.m., on Friday.

• Friday's game can be seen on FSN, as Ron Thulin (play-by-play), Brenda Vanlengen (analyst) and Stacey Dales (sideline) will have the call.
• Despite suffering through four season-ending injuries which depleted the roster by  early December, K-State (16-13, 10-8 Big 12) tied for fourth in the Big 12 and have won seven of their last 10 games.
• K-State has been led this season by the trio of Ayoka Lee, Peyton Williams and Angela Harris. Lee and Williams were All-Big 12 First Team selections while Harris was an All-Big 12 Honorable Mention recipient.

• K-State is 20-23 in the Big 12 Women's Basketball Championships and have advanced at least one round in 17 of the previous 23 championships.
2. Trio Earns All-Big 12 Honors
• Ayoka Lee and Peyton Williams garnered 2020 All-Big 12 First Team honors, while Angela Harris was named an All-Big 12 Honorable Mention recipient. This is the first time since the 2008-09 season in which K-State tallied at least two All-Big 12 First Team selections and at least one All-Big 12 Second Team or Honorable Mention recipient.

• Williams, a finalist for the 2020 Senior CLASS Award, is the seventh player in program history to earn CoSIDA Academic All-America honors, as she was named to the second team. She was the second to earn the honor in the Jeff Mittie era, joining former teammate Shaelyn Martin.
5. Lee, Williams Close in on 1,000 Combined Points
• Lee (456) and Williams (431) need 113 combined points to become the ninth tandem in program history to score 1,000 or more combined points in a season. The duo is the first in program history to register 400 or more points and 300 or more rebounds in the same season.

• K-State has recorded 14 single digit quarters this season. The Wildcats have held three teams to five points in the third quarter this season. Lee Highly Decorated in First Year
• Redshirt freshman Ayoka Lee has collected an armful of awards in her first season on the floor.
• At the conclusion of the Big 12 season, Lee earned the following honors: 2020 Big 12 Freshman of the Year, 2020 All-Big 12 First Team and a unanimous 2020 Big 12 All-Freshman Team recipient.
• During the season, Lee was a 12-time Big 12 Freshman of the Week selection and a two-time USBWA Tamicka Catchings National Freshman of the Week.
• She set the Big 12 record for Big 12 Freshman/Newcomer of the Week honors in a debut season, surpassing the previous record of nine held by Courtney Paris of Oklahoma in 2005-06.

Williams Moves into Ninth on K-State Career Scoring List
• Senior forward Peyton Williams has 24 double figure scoring efforts this season, aiding her ascension on K-State's career scoring list.
• This season, Williams is averaging 15.1 points and 11.1 rebounds with 12 double-doubles. She has boosted her season totals with a .465 field goal percentage and a .758 free throw percentage. Williams ranks ninth in the Big 12 in scoring, sixth in field goal percentage and third in rebounding.
• Williams is the first player in program history with consecutive 400-point, 300-rebound seasons.
• For her career, Williams has scored 1,553 points (12.1 ppg) and is ninth in program history. Williams was the 12th player in program history with 1,500 or more points.
• She also remains an efficient scorer, as she has 63 games in her career with a field goal percentage of .500 or better.
• She has 77 career games with 10 or more points and five or more rebounds, including 33 career double-doubles (see Double-Double note on pg. 16).
• Williams is the first player in program history with 1,500 or more career points, 950 or more career rebounds, 200 or more career assists, 150 or more steals and 100 or more career blocks.

Williams Top-3 on the Glass
• Peyton Williams continues to pile up the rebounds and climb the K-State career rankings.
• For the season, Williams is 15th in the nation, is seventh among all seniors with 11.0 rebounds per game (308 rebounds) and is 10th in the nation in defensive rebounds per game with 7.6.
• Williams is the only player in school history with two seasons of 300 or more rebounds in a career. With her total of 308 rebounds this season, Williams has established a new school record for rebounds in a senior season, a new career season-high and ranks fourth for a single-season.
• In her career, Williams owns 967 career rebounds (7.6 rpg). She is third in program history for career rebounds and has 38 career games with 10 or more rebounds. She is seventh in program history for career rebounding average.
• Williams is one of just two players (Leah Honeycutt, 1989-93) to improve her rebound total by 50 or more in two straight seasons.
• She is tied for first in program history for career games with 15 or more rebounds with seven.
• Williams registered a single-game school record for rebounds with 22 at TCU on February 1. She has a career-high five games this season with 15 or more rebounds.
