1. K-State Among Top Defenses in Nation
• K-State leads the Big 12 and ranks 6th in the nation in scoring defense (53.7 ppg). The Wildcats lead the league and are 3rd in the nation in FG percentage defense (.339) and are 2nd in the nation for 3-point FG percentage defense (.232). K-State has held 18 foes to under 60 points in a game this season.
2. No Place Like Home
• K-State enters Saturday's contest with a 14-game home court winning streak, tied for the seventh-longest in program history. A win would equal the sixth-longest home court winning streak in program history.
3. Sundell Turning Up the Heat
• Over her last five games, junior guard Serena Sundell is averaging 14.4 points on a .500 field goal percentage, 6.8 rebounds, 6.2 assists and 2.4 steals.

• Oklahoma State (11-11, 4-7 Big 12) enters Saturday's matchup following an 81-74 loss to Oklahoma on February 3 to extend its losing streak to five.
• Oklahoma State is guided on the sideline by second-year head coach Jacie Hoyt. The former K-State assistant coach (2015-17) owns a career record of 113-88 (.562) including a 32-23 (.582) mark in Stillwater.
• The Cowgirls feature four players averaging double figures in scoring and are led by Hannah Gusters and Anna Gret Asi.
• Gusters, a junior center from Dallas, Texas, is averaging 14.7 points per game on a .566 field goal percentage and 4.2 rebounds. Against Oklahoma, Gusters came off the bench to register a team-high 22 points on 8-of-16 shooting with five rebounds.
• Gret Asi, a junior guard from Tartu, Estonia, is averaging 13.9 points, a team-best 4.5 assists and 3.2 rebounds. Against the Sooners, Gret Asi notched 15 points, seven rebounds, four assists and three steals.

Wildcats With 375+ Wins in Bramlage
• K-State is 392-154 (.718) all-time inside Bramlage Coliseum, which is in its 36th season of existence.
• This season, the Wildcats are 12-0 in Bramlage. When including its two wins in the 2023 WNIT at the end of the 2022-23 season, K-State is currently on a 14-game home court winning streak, the longest in the Jeff Mittie era and tied for the seventh-longest in program history and the fifth-longest at Bramlage.
• This is the 33rd time in program history that the Wildcats reached double figures in home victories. It is the 25th season K-State has won 10 or more games in Bramlage.
• Over the last three seasons, K-State is 41-7 (.854) in home contests. This is the highest home winning percentage over a three-season span under Mittie.
• In his career in games played in his home venue, Mittie is 396-111 (.781) including an 122-46 (.726) record at K-State.
• Kansas State has protected Bramlage Coliseum with determination against non-conference foes with a record of 228-29 (.887) with an active 28-game winning streak against non-con opponents. Mittie is 74-8 (.902) in non-conference games in Bramlage.
• The Wildcats carded a 15-4 record at home in the 2022-23 season and tied the longest home-court winning streak in the Mittie era to open the season with nine wins.
    
Filling Up the Purple Palace
• This season, the Wildcats rank 24th in the nation and fifth in the Big 12 for total attendance (56,448). K-State is 27th in the nation and fifth in the league in average attendance (4,704 average; 12 home games).
• K-State had a season-high 9,602 fans against Kansas on Jan. 20, 2024. This was the largest women's basketball crowd in Bramlage Coliseum since Dec. 11, 2016, against UConn.
• When the crowd is 7,500 or more in Bramlage Coliseum, K-State is 45-12 (.789) including a record of 18-5 (.783) when the crowd is 10,000 or more.
• The Wildcats moved into Bramlage Coliseum prior to the start of the 1988-89 season and have seen 2,024,784 fans pass through the doors. K-State reached the 2,000,000 mark for women's basketball attendance on Jan. 13, 2024 against Texas.

Wildcats' Defense Forges Identity
• K-State has continued to be a force on the defensive end during head coach Jeff Mittie's 10 seasons on the bench.
• In the 2023-24 season, K-State is holding opponents to 53.7 points per game and a field goal percentage of .339. 
• The Wildcats lead the Big 12 and rank sixth in the nation for scoring defense, leads the Big 12 and are third in the nation for field goal percentage defense and second in the nation for 3-point field goal percentage defense (.232). According to HerHoopStats, K-State is second in the nation and leads the Big 12 in opponent points per 100 possessions (75.5).
• Under Mittie, K-State is 124-14 (.899) when holding its foes to 60 points or less including a 44-2 (.957) record over the last three seasons and an 18-0 record this season. During K-State's 14-game winning streak, the Wildcats held 13 opponents to 60 or fewer points.
• In the season-opener, K-State held Presbyterian to 35 points. This marked the fewest points allowed by the Wildcats since holding UT Martin to 30 points on November 12, 2021.
• During the last 21 seasons, K-State is 135-3 (.978) when holding an opponent to 49 points or less including a 54-0 mark in the Mittie era. During Mittie's tenure K-State has held 18 opponents to 40 or fewer points.
• The Wildcats held Iowa on Nov. 16 to 58 points, 34 points below its 2023-24 season average and their fewest points since 2019.

Stepping In & Stepping Up
• With the absence of Ayoka Lee due to injury, the sophomore duo of Eliza Maupin and Gisela Sanchez have stepped up to fill the void.
• In the last five games, Maupin and Sanchez have combined to average 18.6 points on a .578 field goal percentage and 8.2 rebounds. Both Maupin (18 points) and Sanchez (18 points, twice) have reached career-highs in scoring during the five-game stretch.
• Prior to this five-game stretch, the duo combined to average 7.4 points on a .427 field goal percentage and 5.8 rebounds.

K-State Attacking the Paint
• With the return of 2022 All-American center Ayoka Lee, the Wildcats continue to find buckets in the paint.
• K-State has scored 866 points (37.7 ppg) in the paint through 23 games which is 51.5 percent of K-State's overall point total this season.
• The Wildcats recorded a season-high of 58 against McNeese State on Dec. 6, 2023. This was the most points in the paint since scoring 58 against Oklahoma on Jan. 23, 2022. 
• The Wildcats have scored 30 or more points in the paint in 17 games this season.
• K-State has scored 900 or more points in the paint in eight of head coach Jeff Mittie's 10 seasons including a high of 1,064 points (31.3 ppg) during the 2016-17 season.

Glenn Gains Possession
• Jaelyn Glenn moved into the conversation during the 2022-23 season and beyond as one of the Big 12 Conference's top defenders.
• This season, Glenn has pocketed a team-leading 42 steals (1.83 spg). She ranks eighth in the Big 12 for steals per game.
• For her career, Glenn has registered 179 steals (1.97 spg) and ranks fifth in school history for steals per game. She possesses 51 games with two or more steals including 16 games with four or more steals. She needs 14 steals to move into 10th in school history for career steals. With 21 steals, Glenn will become the 10th player in program history with 200 or more career steals.
• In the 2022-23 season, Glenn tallied a team-high 91 steals (2.53 spg). She tied for seventh in school history for steals per game in a season.
• Glenn led the Big 12 in steals per game. She paced the Big 12 and was 11th in the nation, second among Power 5 conferences, for total steals (91).
• Glenn's 91 steals were the most by a Wildcat since Carlisa Thomas registered 119 steals in the 1986-87 season.
• Glenn pocketed two or more steals in a game a career-best 27 times last season including 10 games with four or more. At Iowa State on Jan. 11, at Oklahoma on March 1 and against Wyoming on March 21, Glenn tied her career-high with six steals. She is tied for second in school history for career games with five or more steals with eight.

Sundell Top-5 for Career Assists
• Serena Sundell has established herself at the point for K-State with her distribution skills.
• Sundell, who was a candidate for the 2023-24 Nancy Lieberman Award, owns a career total of 480 and ranks fifth on the K-State career assists list. She is the seventh player in school history with 400 or more career assists.
• Sundell ranks second in school history for career assists per game at 5.22. She ranks eighth in the nation among active NCAA Division I players for career assists per game.
• She has 57 career games with five or more assists including three 
games with 10 or more assists and a career-high of 11 assists.
• Her career assist to turnover ratio of 1.72 is fourth in program history (min. 100 career assists).
• This season, Sundell is averaging 5.22 assists per game (120 assists) and ranks third in the Big 12. In league action, Sundell leads the league at 5.70 assists per game. She is the fifth player in program history with three or more consecutive seasons with 100 or more assists.
• In the 2022-23 season, Sundell handed out a career-high 184 assists (5.11 apg) including a season-high 10 against Oklahoma State on Jan. 4.
• Sundell was the second player in program history (Shalee Lehning, 368) with 350 or more assists by the conclusion of their sophomore season.
• Sundell's 184 assists last season set the school record for assists in a sophomore season and ranked as the sixth-most in a season in program history. 

Maupin Emerges
• Eliza Maupin helped propel K-State to a road win at then 13th-ranked Baylor.
• At Baylor on Jan. 22, Maupin recorded 16 points with a 6-of-6 effort from the field and hauled in nine rebounds.
• At Texas on Feb. 4, she carded a career-high 18 points on 7-of-7 shooting.
• This season, Maupin is averaging 4.1 points on a career-best .784 field goal percentage, 2.4 rebounds and 0.7 steals.
• Over the last five games, Maupin is averaging 9.6 points on a .905 field goal percentage (19-of-21), 4.6 rebounds and 1.2 steals.
• Maupin emerged as a dynamic player off the bench late in the 2022-23 season for the Wildcats.
• Over the last 10 games of the 2022-23 season, the forward from Webster Groves, Missouri,  averaged 6.6 points on a .585 field goal percentage, 4.2 rebounds and 0.7 blocks in 17.0 minutes of action.
• In her first 12 Big 12 games, Maupin had scored 17 points and pulled in 11 rebounds.
• Maupin averaged 4.1 points on a .571 field goal percentage with 2.9 rebounds in the 2022-23 season. She had six games with 10 or more points including a pair of double-doubles.
