
K-State Opens Big 12 Play Against Cincinnati Friday

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Kansas State opens its 30-game Big 12 schedule this weekend with a three-game set against a new member of the conference, Cincinnati, Friday at Tointon Family Stadium.
The Wildcats (7-5) and Bearcats (8-5) will meet for the first time in series history Friday beginning at 6 p.m., while Saturday's contest is scheduled for 5 p.m. Sunday's series finale is slated for 1 p.m.
Left-hander Jacob Frost (1-0) with get Friday's start against righty Seth Logue. Saturday features a righty matchup between Josh Wintroub (1-1) and Nathan Taylor (3-0). K-State will send veteran Owen Boerema to the mound Sunday.
