Overall comments …
"I think every match is different, right, every opponent's good. And so, when we watch film of Texas Tech, we see the things they're good at, and then we know that we have to slow them down, or we have to do things to affect them. So that was the best thing about tonight is that we did that, and they're a good team, and they have good players, but we have to make plays. And these guys made a ton of plays in order to win the first two sets. And then again, they're a good team, and it wasn't that we were playing badly, they just were making a lot of plays, and therefore the game was close. And then did a great job at the end. I like how more balanced we are offensively. Birthday girl Jordyn Williams tonight did a great job on the slide, and she's just continuing to get better, and so I love that for us."
On Shaylee Myers and Jordyn Williams game play…
"I joked with her [Myers] after that one stuff. She's been searching, she's up there so high, and sometimes the block just doesn't come to you. [Texas Tech] attackers are good they hit with range. And so she had three or four stuffs tonight that had to feel really good, that she's got opportunities to do that. So, yeah we need our block to be solid, especially against their opposites, who we knew they were gonna try to set a bunch. You know, Jordyn's such a good read blocker and so that was a big moment for us. And Shaylee getting over, and Jordyn closing, and that's getting to that point."

On getting the first home conference win of the season…
"It feels good. It feels good to have them kind of pull that victory with us. I think we've also been searching for that. So, it just felt good on both ends."
On finding a way to win despite the third set pressure from Texas Tech…
"Yeah, I think after Wednesday, we got together and talked a lot about urgency, and just finishing when we're on top of the teams, just taking that extra inch to finish. So, I think we displayed that, and I'm really proud of us."
