2019: Played in all 13 games with 11 starts... Made one catch for seven yards in K-State’s win over No. 5 Oklahoma... A contributor to the Wildcats’ blocking unit that helped K-State average 178.0 rushing yards per game to rank fourth in the Big 12... Helped pave the way for 29 rushing touchdowns in 2019, the third most in the Big 12... A First Team Academic All-Big 12 pick, one of a Big 12-best four Wildcats to be nominated with a perfect 4.0 GPA.

2018: Played in all 12 games with starts in each of the final 11 contests... Registered eight catches for 69 yards, the most catches by a Wildcat tight end since 2014... Set career highs with two receptions for 24 yards and a long of 15 yards against Texas Tech... Helped the Wildcats finish third in the Big 12 by averaging 182.6 rushing yards per game, which included a 184.2-yard average in conference games to rank second... Picked up First Team Academic All-Big 12 honors, one of a Big 12-record four Wildcats to be nominated with a perfect 4.0 GPA.

2017: Played in all 13 games, including starts against Oklahoma State and Iowa State... Part of a blocking unit that helped the Wildcats to a tie for third in school history in rushing yards per carry (4.98) and a seventh-place ranking in total rushing yards (2,584), finishing second in the Big 12 in both categories... Also blocked for a K-State bowl record 344-yard rushing output in the Cactus Bowl victory over UCLA... Also recorded a tackle on punt coverage at Texas... A First Team Academic All-Big 12 performer.

2016: Played in all 13 games, primarily in two tight-end sets... An integral part of K-State’s rushing offense, which set the school record for rushing yards per carry (5.27), ranked third in school history in total rushing yards (3,013) and rushing yards per game (231.8), and seventh in rushing touchdowns (39)... Also helped the Wildcats rank sixth nationally in rushing touchdowns... A First Team Academic All-Big 12 honoree.

2015: Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Blue Valley West under head coach Scott Wright... An honorable mention all-state selection by the Topeka Capital-Journal and Wichita Eagle after recording 300 receiving yards and seven touchdowns... Earned all-metro honors as a senior from the Kansas City Star, while he was a first team all-league pick... Also an all-state basketball player who averaged 15 points and nine rebounds per game, helping the Jaguars earn third place at the state tournament.

PERSONAL: Blaise Robert Gammon was born October 9, 1996, in New Orleans, Louisiana... Son of Kendall and Leslie Gammon... Father, Kendall, was a Pro Bowl long snapper who played 15 seasons in the NFL, including the final seven with the Kansas City Chiefs... Kendall is an analyst for the Chiefs Radio Network... Earned his bachelor’s degree in finance in December 2018 and is currently pursuing his MBA.
