HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Abilene under head coach Steve Simpson… An honorable mention all-state linebacker by the Topeka Capital-Journal and Wichita Eagle as both a junior and senior… Was the team’s leading tackler as a senior in 2016 when he made 130 stops, leading the Cowboys to a 7-3 record… Also played basketball, leading his team to a third-place finish in the state tournament in 2017, while he was a two-time state qualifier in track and field.
PERSONAL: Parker O’Neal was born December 29, 1998, in Salina, Kansas… Son of Bob and Amy O’Neal… Has six siblings… Majoring in milling science and management.
