CAREER: A heady offensive lineman who started all 37 games at center over the 2017 to 2019 seasons... A three-time First Team Academic All-Big 12, Academic All-District and Academic All-American, including the latter in which he was named to the first team in the final two years of his career.

2019: Started all 13 games en route to Honorable Mention All-Big 12 accolades from the league’s coaches... One of the leaders for an offensive line that blocked for 178.0 rushing yards per game to rank fourth in the Big 12... Helped lead the way for 29 rushing touchdowns in 2019, the third most in the Big 12... Named a National Football Founation National Scholar-Athlete and finalist for the 2019 William V. Campbell Trophy... Named the 2019 Big 12 Football Scholar-Athlete of the Year and a 2019 CoSIDA Academic All-American... Voted a team captain.

2018: Started every game at center, helping lead the Wildcats to a third-place finish in the Big 12 by averaging 182.6 rushing yards per game... K-State also rushed for a 184.2-yard average in conference games to rank second in the league... Earned First Team CoSIDA Academic All-America honors in addition to being named a First Team Academic All-District honoree and a First Team Academic All-Big 12 performer... One of a Big 12-record four Wildcats that were nominated for the conference honor with a perfect 4.0 GPA... On the watch list for the Rimington Trophy.

2017: Started every game at center... Helped lead the Wildcat offensive line that blocked for the third most rushing yards per carry (4.98) in school history, while the Wildcats finished seventh in school history in total rushing yards (2,584)... Also blocked for a K-State bowl record 344-yard rushing output in the Cactus Bowl victory over UCLA... A Second Team Academic All-American who also earned CoSIDA First Team Academic All-District 7 honors... One of 10 Big 12 players in 2017 to earn First Team Academic All-Big 12 honors with a 4.0 GPA.

HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year letterwinner for Seward, including the last two years under head coach Jamie Opfer... Helped the Bluejays earn an 8-3 record and a trip to the quarterfinals of the Nebraska Class B State Playoffs... Named to the USA TODAY Sports/American Family Insurance All-USA Nebraska team as a defensive lineman... A two-year First Team Class B all-state offensive lineman by the Lincoln Journal-Star and Omaha World-Herald... Named First Team Super State at defensive line as a senior and Class B honorary captain by the Lincoln Journal-Star and Omaha World-Herald... Also earned First Team All-Nebraska honors as a defensive lineman and First Team Class B all-state honors as an offensive lineman by the Omaha World-Herald... A second team all-state honoree as a junior and an all-district performer as a sophomore... Tied the school career record with 37 games started... Registered 81 tackles, including 18.5 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks as a senior... Anchored an offensive line that helped the Bluejays accumulate 3,822 yards... Also came away with 69 tackles, including 14 for loss and five sacks as a junior in 2013... Earned academic all-state honors... Also played basketball and qualified for state in the shot put.
 
PERSONAL: Adam Christian Holtorf was born May 10, 1997, in Lincoln, Nebraska... Son of Paul and Diane Holtorf... Has one brother, Derek... Earned his bachelor’s degree in agribusiness in December 2018 and is currently pursuing his MBA.
