• 2018-19 First Team Academic All-Big 12
CAREER: A backup place kicker who found a niche as the primary kickoff man over the final two years of his career.
2019: Kicked off in nine games, including seven of the final nine contests as the primary kickoff man... Set a career-high in kickoffs against Oklahoma (8), a career high in average at Texas Tech (62.9) and a career high in touchbacks against both West Virginia and Iowa State (3)... Earned First Team Academic All-Big 12 honors.
2018: Served as the team’s primary kickoff man throughout a majority of the season, averaging 58.9 yards on 36 kickoffs with eight touchbacks... Was also true on 4-of-5 extra-point attempts, with two apiece against Texas and Baylor... Had a season high two touchbacks against UTSA, TCU and Kansas, while he had tackles on kickoff coverage against Texas Tech and Iowa State... A First Team Academic All-Big 12 performer.
2017: Was true on his only extra-point attempt of the year against Charlotte.
2016: Did not see any game action.
2015: Redshirted.
HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year letterwinner under head coach Tom Wilson... Helped lead Dowling to state championships as a junior and senior as the team went 14-0 in 2013 and 13-1 in 2014... Broke the Iowa state record for points in a career by a kicker (283), PAT kicks in a career (206) and points in a season by a kicker (105)... Earned all-state honors from both the state’s coaches and the Iowa Newspaper Association... Made 206-of-213 career extra points, 26-of-36 field goals with a long of 42 and also held a 39.6-yard punting average... Also a four-year letterwinner in soccer.
