2020: Played in all 10 games on virtually all phases of special teams, earning votes from the league’s coaches for the Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Year award... Led the Wildcats with seven special teams tackles, including five on kickoff coverage... Had a career-high tying two tackles on five occasions during the year... Earned First Team Academic All-Big 12 honors as he was one of 13 players in the league to be nominated with a 4.0 GPA.

2019: Played in all 13 games on virtually every special teams unit... Finished second on the team with five special teams tackles, while he had nine total stops on the season... Set a career high with two tackles against Bowling Green and matched that mark at Kansas... Earned First Team Academic All-Big 12 honors.

2018: Played in 10 games and carded six tackles, including four on kickoff coverage to tie for fourth on the team in special teams tackles... Tied for fifth nationally with two blocked punts, one against Oklahoma State and one against Texas Tech, the latter going out of the back of the end zone for a safety... The safety against the Red Raiders was the first by a Wildcat via a blocked punt since 2003... Named the team’s Special Teams MVP... Picked up First Team Academic All-Big 12 accolades.

2017: Played in 12 games, tying for team-high honors with three tackles on punt coverage... One of 10 Big 12 players in 2017 to earn First Team Academic All-Big 12 honors with a 4.0 GPA.

2016: Redshirted... Earned the team’s Overachiever Award as the top freshman in strength and conditioning.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered four years at Kapaun Mt. Carmel under head coach Dan Adelhardt... Helped the Crusaders earn a combined 27-14 record over his four years, including a 10-2 mark and a trip to the state semifinals as a sophomore in 2013... A three-time honorable mention all-state honoree as a defensive back from the Topeka Capital-Journal, while he earned all-state honors from the Wichita Eagle in 2015... Combined for over 5,000 passing yards, 2,800 rushing yards and 80 total touchdowns during his career... Also earned honorable mention accolades as a quarterback from the Wichita Eagle as a sophomore and junior... Lettered in basketball and track, earning all-state honors.
