AT BUTLER COMMUNITY COLLEGE: Played two seasons for the Grizzlies under head coach Tim Schaffner… Registered 21 tackles, a half tackle for loss and an interception as a sophomore in 2019… Came away with a season-high six tackles in a win over Trinity Valley in the Midwest Classic Bowl… Interception came against Snow College… Played with current Wildcats Hillard Cozine, Dawson Delforge, Derick Newton, Taiten Winkel and Ty Zentner.
 
AT ANDALE HIGH SCHOOL: Played for the Indians under head coach Dylan Schmidt… Earned first team all-state honors as a senior in 2017 from the Topeka Capital-Journal… Carded a school-record 10 interceptions as a senior to lead all players in the state, while his 16 total turnovers that season set an Andale school record… Hauled in 29 receptions for 423 yards and four touchdowns… Competed in basketball – where the Indians finished third in state and he was an honorable mention all-state player – and track – where he was a state champion.
 
PERSONAL: Parker James Bruce was born January 21, 2000, in Andale, Kansas… Son of Mindy Bruce and the late Kevin Bruce… Has a sister, Paiton, and a brother, Noah… Father, Kevin, played football for two seasons at K-State before finishing his career at Fort Hays State… Majoring in secondary education.
