CAREER: A former community-college walk on who was a valubable member of the special teams over his three seasons in Manhattan.
2019: Played in six games... Had a great game at Texas Tech in which he recorded a tackle on a kickoff and had two key blocks on Joshua Youngblood’s 100-yard kickoff-return touchdown.
2018: Played in all 12 games, primarily on special teams... Tied for fourth on the team with four special teams tackles, all coming on kickoff coverage... Had single tackles against South Dakota, Baylor, Texas Tech and Iowa State.
2017: Played against Oklahoma State and UCLA in the Cactus Bowl on kickoff coverage.
2016: Redshirted.
COMMUNITY COLLEGE: Played in six games during the 2015 season at Butler Community College under head coach Tim Schaffner... Recorded nine tackles, a half tackle for loss and a pass breakup... Tallied a season-high four stops against both Air Force Prep and Iowa Central CC... Played with current Wildcat fullback Adam Harter.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Holcomb under head coach Kent Teeter... Totaled 142 career tackles – 138 of which were unassisted – with four interceptions and four sacks... Also rushed for 1,308 yards and 23 touchdowns during his career... Helped the Longhorns earn a 10-2 record during this senior season of 2014 when he recorded 101 tackles, one interception, two forced fumbles and two fumbles recoveries... Earned all-state honors as a linebacker from the Wichita Eagle and Topeka Capital-Journal in 2014... Also earned first team all-league and all-area as a junior and senior.
