HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Salina Central under head coach Mike Hall… A two-time all-district honoree… Also played basketball and was a state qualifier in track and field… Was the student council president and an all-state academic performer.
PERSONAL: Dylan Scott Wentzel was born June 3, 1998, in Springfield, Missouri… Son of Mark and Marcie Wentzel, both of whom attended K-State… Has one sister, Allie… Majoring in biochemistry with the hopes of becoming an orthopedic surgeon.
