Bio
CAREER: A Wildcat legacy who transfered from Virginia prior to his junior season... Played in a reserve role and on special teams throughout his K-State career.
2019: Saw action in seven games before suffering a season-ending injury... Played on special teams and also saw time at rush end on third downs before his injury during the Oklahoma game... Was having a great game against the Sooners prior to the injury as he knocked down a pass on third down and forced a fumble on a kickoff, the play in which he was lost for the season... His forced fumble was a major contributor to a 17-point third quarter as it came after a touchdown and led to another score that put the Wildcats up, 41-23... Totaled six tackles on the year, three of which came on kickoff coverage.
2018: Saw action in three games, making a tackle against UTSA.
2017: Sat out and redshirted the 2017 season due to NCAA transfer rules.
UNIV. OF VIRGINIA: Played two seasons for the Cavaliers... Saw action in five games as a true freshman in 2015, including a start against North Carolina... Made one tackle against the Tar Heels before leaving with a season-ending injury... Played in 10 games as a sophomore, carding a tackle against Oregon.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played his senior season Lakeland Christian under head coach Wayne Peace... Rated the 59th-best inside linebacker in the nation for the Class of 2015 by ESPN... Carded 96 tackles, 4.0 sacks and an interception to help the Vikings to an 11-2 record and an appearance in the 3A state semifinal round... Earned honorable mention all-state honors... Played his sophomore and junior seasons at George Jenkins, recording 163 tackles and 5.0 sacks over that two-year span.
PERSONAL: Eric Leon Gallon II was born August 20, 1996, in Lakeland, Florida... Son of Eric and Dawn Gallon... Has one sister, Sierra... Father, Eric, was a running back for the Wildcats from 1989 to 1992, rushing for 1,960 yards to rank 12th in school history... Eric was also a captain as a senior in 1992... Cousin, Jeremy Gallon, played at Michigan from 2010-13... Majoring in communication studies.
