Regarded as the 30th-best inside linebacker in the Class of 2020 by Rivals, while 247Sports ranked him No. 37 and ESPN ranked him the 92nd-best overall prospect in the state of Texas... Registered 167 career tackles to go along with 37.0 tackles for loss, 23.0 sacks and three forced fumbles... Had 90 tackles and 15.0 sacks as a junior, while he had 75 stops as a senior to lead the Sharks to a 16-0 record and the Class 5A Division I State Championship... Named the Defensive MVP of the state championship game after tallying seven tackles, 3.0 TFLs and a pair of sacks... Earned 2018 Second Team All-State honors from the Texas Sports Writer’s Association...
