CAREER: Played parts of four seasons – including the 2018 campaign when he played in two games and retained his redshirt – prior to entering the transfer portal toward the end of the 2021 season.

2021: Played in each of the first 11 games with starts against Iowa State, Texas Tech and TCU before entering the transfer portal... Totaled 11 tackles, including one for a loss... Had a season-best four tackles against Oklahoma, which included his lone TFL on the year... Earned First Team Academic All-Big 12 honors.

2020: A versatile defensive back who played in all 10 games and started at both safety (Arkansas State) and nickelback (Iowa State)… Totaled 24 tackles, a half tackle for loss and a pass breakup… Also recovered a pair of fumbles – one against Arkansas State and the other at Baylor – as he tied for third in the Big 12 and 12th in the nation in recoveries… Had a season-high seven tackles against Texas, bettering his previous mark of six against both Arkansas State and Iowa State… Also broke up a pass against the Longhorns.
 
2019: Started all 13 games, finishing fourth on the team with 57 tackles to go along with a half tackle for loss and a pass breakup... Carded a career-high 11 stops against TCU, while he had his first-career pass breakup at Texas Tech... Also had seven tackles against Oklahoma State and West Virginia, and he made six stops at both Mississippi State and Texas Tech.
 
2018: Played in two games as he preserved his redshirt... Saw time against both Texas Tech and Iowa State, the latter where he recorded a tackle on kickoff coverage.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Owasso under head coach Bill Blakenship... Rated the 12th-best prospect in the state of Oklahoma for the Class of 2018 by 247Sports, while he was No. 17 by ESPN and No. 19 by Rivals... Helped lead the Rams to a 2017 Oklahoma Class 6A-I State Championship as he was named a second team all-state performer by The Oklahoman and Tulsa World... Rated No. 10 on The Oklahoman’s Super 30 rankings prior to the season... Viewed as the third-best safety in Oklahoma according to the Tulsa World’s preseason rankings... Also participated in track and wrestling.
