As a Freshman (2016-17): Competed in six events with a 75.33 stroke average… Posted his low 18-hole (70) and low 36-hole (142) at the Old Waverly Invitational and his low 54-hole (221) at the Bridgestone Golf Collegiate… Placed 15th at the Old Waverly Invitational.
HIGH SCHOOL: A three-time all-regional selection… Holds school record for lowest total 18-hole round (63)… Played at Alamo Heights where he finished fourth in the Texas 5A High School State Championship his final two seasons... Won a total of six individual tournaments in high school and was named to the San Antonio Express Super Team his senior year… Currently ranked 14th nationally in the class of 2016 by Golfweek and fifth overall in the state of Texas... Was a two-time qualifier for the U.S. Junior Amateur and tallied four top-10 finishes in AJGA events in 2014-2015... Came to K-State on fire as he won the AJGA Patrick Reed Junior Championship prior to capturing the prestigious Byron Nelson Junior Championship.
