
Wildcats Travel to Greensboro for Fall Finale

The Kansas State men's golf team is set to complete the fall portion of its schedule in the Bridgestone Golf Collegiate, Saturday and Sunday, at the par-72, 7,245-yard Grandover Resort East Course in Greensboro, North Carolina.
The two-day tournament will feature 36-holes beginning with an 8:30 a.m. (ET), shotgun start on Saturday and a 9:30 a.m. (ET) start to the final round on Sunday.
"We are looking forward to competing this weekend in Greensboro," head coach Grant Robbins said. "It is a great opportunity for us to go up against another strong field on a great golf course."
Kansas State's lineup for the weekend will feature Jacob Eklund, Trent Evans, Ben Fernandez, Jeremy Gandon and Roland Massimino, with Kyle Vance competing as an individual.
Fernandez and Eklund led the Wildcats two weeks ago in the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate. Fernandez tied for 25th at 1-under par 215, and Eklund recorded an even-par 216 to tie for 32nd.
Massimino and Vance last competed as individuals at the Bill Ross Intercollegiate. Massimino recorded 4-over par 220 to tie for eighth place, while Vance tied for 24th at 9-over par 225.
The Wildcats will be joined in the Bridgestone Golf Collegiate by Duke, Georgia State, Loyola (Md.), North Carolina, North Carolina State, Northwestern, UNC Greensboro, VCU and Virginia Tech.
