MANHATTAN, Kansas - For the third time in the last five seasons, Kansas State (9-3) will begin its Big 12 Conference schedule against (25/rv) Iowa State (10-2) as the Wildcats face the Cyclones on Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m., in Ames, Iowa. K-State started the 2014-15 season in Ames, which was K-State head coach Jeff Mittie's first at the helm of the Wildcats.

• Kansas State has lost six straight Big 12 Conference openers, with their last win in a league opener coming against ninth-ranked Texas A&M on January 4, 2012.
• K-State extended its home court winning streak to seven with a 72-62 win over Northern Iowa on December 29 to end its regular season non-conference schedule.

• Williams appears among the Big 12 statistical leaders in eight of the 14 categories.
• For her career, Williams has 39 career games with 10 or more points and five or more rebounds. Williams has an active streak of 16 consecutive games scoring in double figures dating back to March 2, 2018, against Kansas in the Big 12 Championship.
• She also remains an efficient scorer, as she ranks seventh in program history for career field goal percentage (312-587; .532). She has 44 games in her career with a field goal percentage of .500 or better.
• Against Northern Iowa, Williams registered 22 points, 13 rebounds and six assists. This was the second time in her career that Williams tallied a stat line of 15 or more points, 10 or more rebounds and five or more assists.
• Last season, Williams set career season-highs in every statistical category including: points (501; 14.7 ppg), free throws made and attempted (89-of-104; .856), field goals made and attempted (199-of-371; .536), blocks (47; 1.4 bpg), steals (50; 1.5 spg), three-point field goals made and attempted (14-of-47; .298) and double-doubles (7).
• Williams improved her scoring average by 11.0 points per game from her freshman season. This was the third-largest improvement from one season to the next in program history.
