MANHATTAN, Kansas - Kansas State will conclude its lone two-game home stand of Big 12 play this season on Wednesday night, as the Wildcats face their league-leading sixth Associated Press top-25 opponent in (11/11) Texas at 7 p.m.

• Wednesday's game will be aired on ESPN3, as Brian Smoller (play-by-play), Missy Heidrick (analyst) and Anna Christianson (sideline) will have the call.
• Last time out, K-State (10-6, 1-3 Big 12) had its 10-game winning streak in the Dillons Sunflower Showdown snapped as Kansas defeated the Wildcats, 61-54. The loss also ended K-State's nine-game home court winning streak to begin the season.
• The Wildcats trailed by as many as 18 in the third quarter, but outscored the Jayhawks 32-21 in the final 15 minutes of the game. K-State closed to within four with three minutes remaining but were unable to overcome the deficit.
• Kansas State was led by junior forward Peyton Williams. The 2019 Katrina McClain Award candidate registered 19 points, eight rebounds and tied her career-high with five blocked shots.
• For the season, the product of Topeka, Kansas, is averaging team-highs in points (14.9 ppg), rebounds (9.8 rpg), field goal percentage (.562) and free throw percentage (.830).
• Also in double figures against Kansas was senior guard Kayla Goth and sophomore guard Rachel Ranke. A 2019 Nancy Lieberman Award candidate, Goth tallied 11 points, seven assists and three steals against the Jayhawks. Goth leads the Big 12 in total assists (97; 6.1 apg). She leads the team in steals (28; 1.8 spg) and is second on the team in scoring (11.9 ppg).
• Ranke finished with 10 points and three rebounds. For the season, the product of Burnsville, Minnesota, is averaging 10.3 points per game and leads the team with 35 three-point field goals made.

• #KStateWBB junior forward Peyton Williams surpassed the career 500-rebound mark and career 70-block mark in program history against Kansas on January 13.
• Williams is the sixth player in program history to achieve these benchmarks and the second under head coach Jeff Mittie (Breanna Lewis, 2013-17).
• Williams ranks tied for 31st in program history for career rebounds with 503. She ranks tied for 10th in career blocks with 71.
• This season, Williams is averaging a career-best 9.8 rebounds including 10.3 in Big 12 action.

• (11/11) Texas (14-2, 4-0 Big 12) enters Wednesday night's game following a 64-62 win at Iowa State on Saturday. Texas owns a seven-game winning streak.
• Texas is guided on the sideline by seventh year head coach Karen Aston. The 1987 graduate of UALR owns a record of 156-64 (.709) during her time in Austin.
• The Longhorns are led by Sug Sutton, Jatari White and Danni Williams.
• Sutton, a junior guard from St. Louis, Missouri, is leading the active Texas players in scoring with 11.9 points and is pacing the squad in assists with 5.8 per game. At Iowa State, Sutton led all scorers with 24 points on 10-of-18 shooting and dished out seven assists.
• White a senior forward/center from Charlotte, North Carolina, is averaging 10.9 points and is second on the team in rebounding with 6.1 per game. Against the Cyclones, White came off the bench to add 10 points and seven rebounds.
• Williams, a graduate transfer from Texas A&M, is third among the active Longhorns with 10.2 points and is pulling in 5.1 rebounds per game.

Wildcats Send Back Shots Under Mittie
• Under head coach Jeff Mittie, Kansas State has piled up blocked shots. K-State has sent back 706 shots for 4.74 per game in the 149 games. K-State has 140 or more blocks in each of the previous four seasons under Mittie.
• Kansas State has 90 blocked shots (5.6 bpg) in the 2018-19 season. The Wildcats rank 14th in the nation for total blocks and 13th for blocks per game. According to herhoopstats.com, K-State ranks 12th in the nation in block rate at 13.7 percent. K-State has finished among the top-35 in block rate in two of the last three seasons including 11th in the 2015-16 season.
• Of the 12 players that have seen the floor this season, nine have at least one blocked shot.
• Against Lamar, K-State blocked a season-high 12 shots. This was the most blocks since K-State set the school record on Nov. 13, 2015 at Tulsa of 14. Under Mittie, K-State has five games with 10 or more blocks.
• K-State has 10 games this season with five or more blocks.

• K-State has opened the 2018-19 season with 212 assists on its 370 made field goals, which is a 57.3 percent assisted shot rate.
• The Wildcats handed out a season-high 24 assists against Oklahoma on January 5. The Wildcats are 59-2 when handing out 20 or more assists over the last 13 years.
• Under head Jeff Mittie's direction, K-State has registered 2,138 assists on 3,441 made field goals which is an assisted shot rate of 62.1 percent.
• In the 2017-18 season, Kansas State dished out 15.4 assists per game, which ranked fifth in the Big 12, and owned a 1.21 assist to turnover ratio, which ranked third in the Big 12. The Wildcats had an assisted shot rate of 63.6 percent (525 assists/825 made field goals). According to herhoopstats.com, K-State ranked 31st in the nation in assisted shot rate.
• The 525 assists by K-State were the most in the Jeff Mittie-era and the sixth-highest total in program history. This marked the eighth time in program history that K-State registered 500 or more assists in a season.
• K-State registered the third-highest assist-to-turnover ratio in program history (1.21). This was the highest assist-to-turnover ratio since the 2003-04 season (1.33) set the school record.
• Since assists became an officially tracked stat in 1981-82, Kansas State has registered an assist percentage of 60.0 percent or higher at the end of a season 19 times in its history including a current streak of five straight seasons.
• K-State dished out 25 assists on 34 made field goals (73.5 percent) against Chicago State on Dec. 18, the most since 26 assists against TCU on Feb. 11, 2015. K-State had 12 games last season with assists on 70 percent or more of the made field goals.

Williams Surpasses 500 Career Rebounds    
• Peyton Williams continues to pile up the rebounds to begin the 2018-19 season.
• At Baylor, Williams hauled in 10 rebounds which was her 16th career game with 10 or more rebounds. This season, Williams has a high of 14 rebounds against Vanderbilt.
• For the season, Williams is averaging 9.8 rebounds per game and ranks third in the Big 12 and 51st in the nation in rebounds per game and is second in the league in defensive rebounds per game at 7.1.
• Williams owns 503 career rebounds (6.1 rpg). She ranks tied for 31st in program history for career rebounds and is the 32nd player in program history with 500 or more career rebounds.
• In the 2017-18 season, the product of Topeka, Kansas, was second on the team with 7.1 rebounds per game and set a career season-high for rebounds with 241 in 2017-18. Her 7.1 rebounds per game are double her per game average from her freshman season (3.4 rpg).
• Williams ranked eighth in the Big 12 in rebounds per game (7.1 rpg) and within Big 12-only games she ranked eighth (6.9 rpg).
• Williams was the fourth player in program history to register 500 or more points and 200 or more rebounds in her sophomore season. She was the first sophomore to achieve this milestone since Kendra Wecker in the 2002-03 season.

Goth, Williams Form Potent Duo
• K-State's Peyton Williams (224 pts; 14.9 ppg) and Kayla Goth (191 pts; 11.9 ppg) have combined to averaged 26.8 points per game this season. They have been responsible for 40.6 percent of K-State's total points this season.
• Goth and Williams have reached double figures in the same game eight times this season and combined for a season-high 38 points against Lamar on December 5.
• In the 2017-18 season, Goth (17.5 ppg) and Williams (14.7 ppg) combined to average 32.2 points per game last season. In Big 12 action, the pair averaged 32.1 points per game.
• Goth (596 points) and Williams (501 points) were the eighth tandem in program history to register a combined 1,000 or more points in a season and the first since 2012-13 (min. 1,000 total points & 400+ by each player).
• The duo, who surpassed career season-highs in scoring, was responsible for 47.4 percent of K-State's total point production in 2017-18. In league play, they were responsible for 48.7 percent of K-State's points.
• Goth and Williams were third in the Big 12 in percentage of their team's overall point total.
