MANHATTAN, Kansas - K-State continues its four-game home stand to begin the season with a Monday night matchup against UIC. Game time is 6:30 p.m.

• Monday's game can be seen live on Big 12 Now on ESPN+, as Brian Smoller (play-by-play), Missy Heidrick (analyst) and Adam Cook (sideline) will have the call.  
• Following a 73-48 win over Omaha in the 2019-20 season-opener, K-State owns an eight-game winning streak in Bramlage Coliseum against non-conference opponents.
• Of the 12 Wildcats to see the floor in the season-opener, nine scored at least two points and five players reached double figures against the Mavericks. K-State was led by sophomore Christianna Carr with 15 points and five rebounds.
• Senior Peyton Williams turned in her first double-double of the season and the 22nd of her career with 14 points and 19 rebounds. The product of Topeka, Kansas, was one rebound shy of tying the school record. She is the eighth player in program history with 19 or more rebounds in a game and the first since Shalee Lehning in the 2005-06 season.
• Defensively, Kansas State swatted eight shots and pocketed nine steals. A season ago, the Wildcats recorded 14 games with five or more blocks.

1. Lockdown Defense
• Kansas State held Omaha to 48 points and a field goal percentage of .290. K-State is 30-0 under head coach Jeff Mittie when holding opponents to 49 points or less.
2. 20-Point Quarters
• The Wildcats held Omaha to five points in the third quarter, including a 1-of-8 effort from the field. Since the start of the quarter system in 2015-16 season, K-State owns a 44-11 (.800) record when they hold an opponent to single digits in any quarter.
3. 50+ Rebounds
• K-State crashed the glass against Omaha with 50 rebounds. The 50 rebounds were the most since the Wildcats pulled in 50 against Kansas City on Nov. 18, 2018.

• Sophomore Christianna Carr led K-State in scoring for the fourth time in her career with 15 points against Omaha. This was her 14th career game with 10 or more points.

• Among the five players in double figures, redshirt freshman Ayoka Lee tallied 11 points, eight rebounds, three blocks and two steals in 18 minutes of action.
• As a team, K-State outrebounded Omaha, 50-43, which included 14 offensive rebounds leading to a 15-9 edge in second chance points for the Wildcats.

• In the six season-openers, K-State has blocked 50 shots (8.3 per game) which includes the eight blocks against Omaha this season.

• Against Omaha on November 8, K-State held the Mavericks to five points in the third quarter. The five allowed were the fewest K-State allowed in any quarter since holding Oklahoma State to three points in the first quarter on January 23, 2019.

• Since the 2001-02 season, Kansas State owns a record of 225-28 (.889) when holding the edge on the glass.
• K-State held the edge on the boards in 13 games in 2018-19 (12-1).
• K-State notched 50 rebounds against Omaha in the season-opener and carded and +7 margin against the Mavericks (50-43).
• The 50 rebounds against Omaha were the most by a K-State team since pulling down 50 against Kansas City on November 18, 2018.

Williams Approaching Top-15 for Career Rebounds
• Peyton Williams continues to pile up the rebounds and climb the K-State career rankings.
• To open the 2019-20 season, Williams pulled in a career-high 19 rebounds for her 24th career game with 10 or more rebounds. She was the eighth player in program history to haul in 19 or more rebounds in a game. She racked up her total with six offensive boards and 13 defensive collections.
• In her career, Williams owns 678 career rebounds (6.7 rpg). She is 16th in program history for career rebounds.
• In the 2018-19 season, Williams averaged 9.5 rebounds per game and achieved a new career season-high on the glass with 303 total rebounds. Her 303 rebounds last season ranked fourth in program history for a single season and are the most since Nicole Ohlde pulled in 306 rebounds in the 2002-03 season.
• Williams ranked second in the Big 12 and 49th in the nation in rebounds per game and led the league in defensive rebounds per game at 6.7.
• Williams led the Big 12 in rebounding for league-only games (10.0 rpg). She was the first Wildcat to average a double-double in Big 12 action since Kendra Wecker in the 2004-05 season.

Carr Starts Strong    
• Christianna Carr started her second collegiate season with a bang, as she tallied 15 points and five rebounds against Omaha.
• In her first season with the Wildcats, Carr averaged 9.8 points, 1.7 three-point field goals made and 2.8 rebounds. The 2019 Big 12 All-Freshman Team recipient reached double figures in scoring in 13 games this season.
• Carr made 56 three-point field goals last season, which was second on the team. Her total of 56 ranked tied for sixth for a freshman in program history. She was the fourth K-State freshman to register 325 or more points and 50 or more three-point field goals made in a season.
• Carr had 15 games with two or more 3-point field goals made including a high of five against Vanderbilt on December 2.
• Carr was a two-time USBWA National Freshman of the Week and Big 12 Freshman of the Week selection last season (Jan. 22 & March 5).
• Against Princeton, Carr achieved a career-high 22 points on 7-of-16 shooting including 4-of-8 from beyond the arc.
• Against Vanderbilt, she carded her second straight 20-point game with 21 points on 7-of-16 shooting including a career-best 5-of-11 from 3-point range.

Lee Strong in Debut
• Ayoka Lee made a stellar debut for K-State in the season-opener against Omaha.
• Lee registered 11 points, eight rebounds, three blocks and two steals in 18 minutes of action.
• The redshirt freshman from Byron, Minnesota, tallied the most blocks in a K-State debut since Breanna Lewis notched four to begin the 2013-14 season.
