MANHATTAN, Kansas - K-State begins a three-match road trip this weekend, as the Wildcats travel to the state of Oklahoma to face Oklahoma State on Thursday at 7 p.m., followed by a trip to Norman to tangle with Oklahoma on Sunday at 1 p.m. Sunday's match at Oklahoma will be the 100th in the six-season history of K-State soccer.

• With a win in its final four matches of league play, K-State would set the school records for wins in a season and road wins in a season.Â
• With two wins in its final four matches, K-State would tie the school record for wins in Big 12 play and set the school record for points in the Big 12 standings with 11. The Wildcats set its school record for Big 12 wins (3) and points (9) in 2020.
Last Time Out
• Last week, K-State (6-6-2, 1-2-2 Big 12) ended a 13-match losing streak to ranked opponents with a pair of draws. The two draws were the first in Big 12 play in the history of K-State soccer and were just the second and third draws at Buser Family Park in the six-year history of the facility.
• On Thursday, the Wildcats played 9th-ranked West Virginia to a 1-1 draw. Each team scored in the first half. Junior Kyler Goins scored her second Big 12 goal of the season to provide the game-tying tally.
• In the two games, sophomore goalkeeper Alaina Werremeyer 22 saves on 23 shots on goal including a penalty kick save against Baylor. Werremeyer set a school record for saves in a match with 13 against the Bears.
The Road Mostly Traveled
• Since the start of the program in 2016, K-State has played 52 matches away from Manhattan.
• For the first time in program history, the Wildcats won a pair of matches away from Buser Family Park in the same weekend. K-State downed Austin Peay, 5-0, on Aug. 27 and won a neutral site match over North Alabama, 1-0, on Aug. 29.
• With its three road wins this season, K-State has tied the school record for road wins in a season with the 2017 squad.
• Overall, the Wildcats are 10-33-9 in road matches in their history.

W for Werremeyer
• Sophomore goalkeeper Alaina Werremeyer has been a wall for the Wildcats in the last three games.Â
• In the last three games, which is a span of 318:21, Werremeyer has recorded 32 saves on 57 total shots and has allowed just two goals while helping the Wildcats to a 1-0-2 record. For her efforts, Werremeyer collected consecutive Big 12 Goalkeeper of the Week honors.Â
• To begin the current stretch, Werremeyer notched her fifth career win and her third career win in Big 12 play with 10 saves at Kansas on Sept. 30.
• Facing ninth-ranked West Virginia, Werremeyer made nine saves and kept the Mountaineers off the scoreboard for the final 102 minutes of the match.
• Against 23rd-ranked Baylor, Werremeyer made a school record 13 saves including her first career penalty kick save in the 82nd minute to preserve her third shutout of the season.
• In her 11 starts this season, Werremeyer owns a 1.39 goals against average and a save percentage of .800 with a career0best 64 saves.
• The product of Blue Springs, Missouri, leads the Big 12 for saves per game (5.82) and total saves.
Goins with Goals
• Junior Kyler Goins has achieved career season-highs for goals (3), points (6), shots (29) and shots on goal (10) in her second season with K-State.
• The transfer from Arkansas has recorded three goals and six points in 14 matches played this season. She ranks second on the team for shots (29) and is tied for second for shots on goal (10). Her six points are third and her three goals are second.Â
• Most recently, Goins scored the game-tying goal against ninth-ranked West Virginia on October 7 with a rocket shot from 20 yards into the upper right corner in the 18th minute. This was just the third game-tying goal in program history and the first in the six-year history of Buser Family Park.
Gillispie Adds HelpersÂ
• Freshman defender Kenzi Gillispie has been a distributor out of the backline for the Wildcats in her first season in Manhattan, as she has two assists and is tied for third on the team in assists.
• Gillispie, a product of Newton, Kansas, recorded an assist on the game-winning goal against Omaha on Aug. 22. She headed the ball down off a corner kick which resulted in a goal from Marisa Weichel in the seventh minute.
• Gillispie was the first K-State freshman to record an assist in the first two games of a season. She was the third freshman to record at least one point in the first two matches of the season, joining Katie Cramer (2016) and Chloe Fisher (2018).
• She then pocketed her second career assist with a long pass on Weichel's goal in the 60th minute at Colorado State on Sept. 5.
• This season, Gillispie is second on the Wildcats in minutes played with 1,059 including all 110 in both matches against ninth-ranked West Virginia and 23rd-ranked Baylor in the same weekend.
Loren Climbs the Ladder for Winner
• Junior Jesse Loren recorded her first K-State goal during K-State's win at Austin Peay on Aug. 27.
• The product of Redondo Beach, California, headed home the game-winning goal from 10 yards off a corner kick in the seventh minute. This was the first game-winning goal of Loren's career. For her efforts in helping K-State to a pair of shutout wins, Loren was named to the TopDrawerSoccer.com National Team of the Week for Aug. 31.
• Loren, a transfer from Colorado, owns three career collegiate goals which includes two during her time in Boulder.
• This season with the Wildcats, Loren has started all 14  matches and leads the Wildcats in minutes played with 1,203.
