MANHATTAN, Kansas – For the first time in 10 years and one day, K-State will face South Dakota State at Frost Arena in Brookings, S.D., as the Wildcats complete a three-game road trip to begin the month of December on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m.Â
• This will be K-State's second appearance in Brookings, as the Wildcats faced the Jackrabbits on Dec. 10, 2011, which was a 63-46 K-State win.
• Saturday's game can be seen live on ESPN+, as Brad Peterson (play-by-play) and Brad Newitt (analyst) will have the call.
• K-State has been led this season by junior Ayoka Lee and freshman Serena Sundell. Lee, a center from Byron, Minnesota, is second in the nation for total points scored (228) and is fifth in the nation in scoring average (22.8 ppg). She also leads the nation in field goals made (95) and blocked shots (38) and is sixth in total rebounds (107) and 20th in rebounds per game (10.7 rpg).

• In its win at Omaha on Dec. 8, K-State tied the school record for 3-point field goals made with 16 on 32 attempts. The Wildcats also tied the school record for 3-point field goals made in a half (11). This was the third time K-State made 10 or more 3-pointers in a game this season.
2. Happy Helpers
• K-State is averaging 19.1 assists per game this season and rank second in the Big 12 in the category. The Wildcats have five games with 20 or more assists including 24 at Omaha on Dec. 8.
3. Freshmen Adding Scoring Punch

Since surpassing the mark, Lee has climbed into the top-30 in career scoring with 1,162 points. Lee is 27 points from moving into the top-25 on the K-State career points list.
