FROM THE TRACK
CLIFF ROVELTO, TRACK AND FIELD DIRECTOR
On the overall team performance…
"We had some individuals I thought did a really nice job, not only from a competitive standpoint, but performance standpoint. We had some folks who I think competed well, probably mark wise, maybe were a little bit disappointed but they did compete. You know, we had some folks who didn't compete quite as well as we would like to see, so we had kind of a mixed bag. Last night after I saw the injuries and whatnot, I thought we would have to really have a pretty good meet to beat Wichita [State], to be honest. And we had some bad things happen today, obviously, they must have as well because we were able to sneak by them and it was, I guess it was a good opener, but there were a lot of things that we need to get a lot better."

SENIOR SHALYSA WRAY
On her personal performance…
"I did amazing. I opened my season with two PR's, so I think it went pretty great."

On her team cheering her on…
"I think it was very great. You know, just having the support from them, having them cheer me on. Even when I was tired from being in events back-to-back they were still there, pushing me and telling me I can do it, so it was amazing."

JUNIOR KYLE GALE
On his personal performance…
"I think today was a good start. It's the beginning of the season, so this was just a meet to see where I'm at in training. So, it was a good start."
