• Kansas State remains in the Associated Press (AP) top-25 poll, as the Wildcats dropped to 10th in the Feb. 19 poll.
• The Wildcats achieved the program's highest ranking in the Jeff Mittie era (2014-present), as the team was ranked 2nd on Jan. 29. It was the highest ranking for the program in the AP poll since Nov. 25, 2002 when K-State was ranked 2nd.
• According to Stats Perform, K-State was the first women's program since the start of the AP poll in 1976 to go from unranked in the preseason to either No. 1 or No. 2 in the same season.
• Since making its poll debut on Nov. 20 this season, K-State has been ranked for 14 consecutive weeks this season. This is the longest consecutive streak for K-State since being ranked for the entirety of the 2004-05 season. In its history, K-State has now been ranked for a total of 188 weeks in the AP poll.

Wildcats Near 400 Wins in Bramlage
• K-State is 394-154 (.719) all-time inside Bramlage Coliseum, which is in its 36th season of existence.
• This season, the Wildcats are 14-0 in Bramlage which is the longest in-season win streak since 2002-03 (19). When including its two wins in the 2023 WNIT at the end of the 2022-23 season, K-State is currently on a 16-game home court winning streak, the longest in the Jeff Mittie era and tied for the fifth-longest in program history and tied for the second-longest at Bramlage.
• This is the 33rd time in program history that the Wildcats reached double figures in home victories. It is the 25th season K-State has won 10 or more games in Bramlage.
• Over the last three seasons, K-State is 43-7 (.860) in home contests. This is the highest home winning percentage over a three-season span under Mittie.
• In his career in games played in his home venue, Mittie is 398-111 (.782) including an 124-46 (.729) record at K-State.
• Kansas State has protected Bramlage Coliseum with determination against non-conference foes with a record of 228-29 (.887) with an active 28-game winning streak against non-con opponents. Mittie is 74-8 (.902) in non-conference games in Bramlage.

• K-State's total attendance this season of 69,612 ranks 10th in school history for a season. The average attendance this season of 4,972 ranks seventh in school history.
• K-State had a season-high 9,602 fans against Kansas on Jan. 20, 2024. This was the largest women's basketball crowd in Bramlage Coliseum since Dec. 11, 2016, against UConn.
• When the crowd is 7,500 or more in Bramlage Coliseum, K-State is 45-12 (.789) including a record of 18-5 (.783) when the crowd is 10,000 or more.
• The Wildcats moved into Bramlage Coliseum prior to the start of the 1988-89 season and have seen 2,037,948 fans pass through the doors. K-State reached the 2,000,000 mark for women's basketball attendance on Jan. 13, 2024 against Texas.
Three is not a Crowd, It's a Benefit
• Since 2011-12, when three or more players reach double figures in scoring in the same game, K-State is 174-83 (.677) including a 17-3 record this season.
• The Wildcats had a season-high five players reach double figures against Oklahoma on Jan. 10 and again at Iowa State on Feb. 14.
• This season, the duo of Ayoka Lee and Gabby Gregory have scored in double figures in the same game six times including a combined 40 points against Oral Roberts on Dec. 18.
• The tandem of Jaelyn Glenn and Serena Sundell have scored in double figures in the same game 26 times since teaming up in Manhattan at the start of the 2021-22 season.
Cats Send Back Shots Under Mittie
• During the Jeff Mittie era, K-State has dealt out rejection to its opponents and has maintained a high rate in the 2023-24 season.
• This season, K-State has registered 149 blocked shots (5.7 bpg) and lead the Big 12 and are seventh in the nation for blocks per game. Of the 13 active players on the roster, 11 have recorded at least one blocked shot.
• K-State has a blocked shot differential of +91 this season (149-58). Since blocks became official in 1982-83, K-State has 21 seasons with a positive blocked shot differential including a school record +73 (163-90) in the 2005-06 season.
• With 22 blocks, K-State will set the school record for blocked shots in a season.
• The Wildcats have four games with 10 or more blocks, with 12 against McNeese State on Dec. 6 and Oklahoma on Jan. 10, 11 blocks against Presbyterian on Nov. 6 and 10 against Oral Roberts on Dec. 18. The 12 blocks against McNeese State and Oklahoma are tied for the third-most for a single-game in program history. The 12 blocks against Oklahoma set the school record for blocked shots in a conference game.
• Of the 33 missed shots by the Blue Hose, 33 percent were due to a Wildcat blocked shot.
• Under Mittie, K-State has blocked 10 or more shots in a game 16 times, including a school record of 14 at Tulsa on Nov. 13, 2015. K-State is 15-1 during the Mittie era when blocking 10 or more shots.
• During the Mittie era, Kansas State has sent back 1,498 shots for 4.73 per game in the 317 games. K-State has blocked 120 or more shots in each of Mittie's 10 seasons, the longest streak of 120 or more blocks in program history.
• The 1,498 blocks in the 10 seasons are the most in any 10-season span in program history.
Wildcats Picking Pockets
• The Wildcats continue to swipe the basketball at a high rate. K-State has 235 steals (9.0 spg) this season. Of the 432 opponent turnovers this season, 54.4 percent have come off a K-State steal.
• K-State has 12 games with 10 or more steals this season, including a season-high of 18 against Presbyterian.
• Since joining the Wildcats as freshmen in the 2021-22 season, the trio of the Glenn sisters and Serena Sundell have combined for 462 steals (4.86 per game in 95 games). The 462 steals in the last three seasons are 56.6 percent of K-State's 816 total steals.
• Kansas State displayed quick hands in the 2022-23 season, as the Wildcats pocketed 336 steals and were second in the Big 12 in steals per game (9.33 spg). Of the 614 opponent turnovers, 54.7 percent came by way of a K-State steal.Â
• K-State featured three players with 60 or more steals last season: Jaelyn Glenn (91), Sundell (67) and Brylee Glenn (61). The trio had the most combined steals of any three teammates in the Big 12 last season (219).
• Since at least the 2009-10 season, the 2022-23 season marked the first time K-State featured three players with 60 or more steals.
Sundell Top-5 for Career Assists
• Serena Sundell has established herself at the point for K-State with her distribution skills.
• Sundell, who was a candidate for the 2023-24 Nancy Lieberman Award, owns a career total of 494 and ranks fifth on the K-State career assists list. She is the seventh player in school history with 400 or more career assists.
• Sundell ranks second in school history for career assists per game at 5.25. She ranks eighth in the nation among active NCAA Division I players for career assists per game.
• She has 60 career games with five or more assists including threeÂ
games with 10 or more assists and a career-high of 11 assists.
• Her career assist to turnover ratio of 1.71 is fourth in program history (min. 100 career assists).
• This season, Sundell is averaging 5.35 assists per game (139 assists) and ranks second in the Big 12 for assists per game and leads the league in total assists. In league action, Sundell is second in the league at 5.85 assists per game. She is the fifth player in program history with three or more consecutive seasons with 100 or more assists.
• In the 2022-23 season, Sundell handed out a career-high 184 assists (5.11 apg) including a season-high 10 against Oklahoma State on Jan. 4.
• Sundell was the second player in program history (Shalee Lehning, 368) with 350 or more assists by the conclusion of their sophomore season.
• Sundell's 184 assists last season set the school record for assists in a sophomore season and ranked as the sixth-most in a season in program history.
Sundell Surpasses 1K Mark
• In addition to her distribution skills, guard Serena Sundell adds a scoring punch to the K-State lineup.
• During her career, Sundell has scored 1,162 points (12.2 ppg) and was the 45th player in school history to score 1,000 points in her career and currently ranks 30th on the K-State career scoring list. She has tallied double figures in 64 career games.
• This season, Sundell is averaging 11.9 points on a career-high .541 field goal percentage. She registered a personal season-high 22 points at UCF on Jan. 6 and has scored in double figures in 18 games, including three games with 20 or more. She has scored in double figures in 12 straight games. In Big 12 games, Sundell is averaging 14.4 points per game on a .551 field goal percentage. She ranks eighth in the league in scoring and is second in the league in field goal percentage.Â
• During the 2022-23 season, Sundell was second on the team and 12th in the Big 12 in scoring with 13.9 points per game on a career-best .489 field goal percentage. In Big 12 games, she averaged 15.11 points and ranked eighth in the league.
• Sundell recorded a personal career-high 501 points last season. She was the seventh player in program history to score 500 or more points in their sophomore season. Her total ranked tied for sixth for a sophomore season at K-State.
• In the 2022-23 season, the product of Maryville, Missouri, scored in double figures in 26 games including eight games with 20 or more points, which ranked tied for sixth in the Big 12 last season.
• At Oklahoma on March 1, Sundell carded a career-high 33 points on 11-of-17 shooting. She joined Gabby Gregory as the only Wildcats last season with 30 or more points in a game.
• Sundell earned Big 12 Player of the Week honors for the first time in her career by leading the Big 12 in scoring (22.5) during the week of games on Feb. 20-26.
• Against Kansas on Feb. 22, Sundell registered the most unique stat line in the nation. According to Stats Perform, Sundell was the only player last season, one of four since 1999-00 and the only player in the Big 12 since 1999-00 to record 24 points on 80 percent shooting and also registering seven assists, five rebounds, four steals and one block.
Gregory Scores It
• Guard Gabby Gregory was a dynamic addition to the K-State lineup in the 2022-23 season.
• In her career, Gregory has scored 1,673 points (12.6 ppg). She is the first player to transfer to K-State and then reach the 1,000- and 1,500-point marks in her collegiate career.
• Gregory has scored in double figures 81 times in her career, including 40 games at K-State.
Nobody Scores It Like Ayoka Lee
• Ayoka Lee has moved into the top-5 for career scoring at K-State and has a chance to achieve the school career scoring record.
• In her career, Lee has scored 2,037 points in 106 career games (19.2 ppg) and ranks fourth in school history for career points scored. Her career scoring average of 19.2 ranks first in school history, ninth in Big 12 history and sixth among active NCAA Division I players.
• To surpass Kendra Wecker (2001-05; 2,333), Lee needs to score 297 points.
• She was the 44th player in school history with 1,000 or more career points and was the fastest player in program history to reach 1,500 career points, needing 77 games to reach the milestone. She was the first player in school history to reach the 1,000-career point mark and the 1,500-career point mark in the same season.
• Lee has scored in every game of her career (106 games) and has reached double figures in 97 games which includes a career-best streak of 28 straight games in double figures dating back to the final five games of the 2020-21 season until Feb. 9, 2022.
• This season, Lee is averaging a team-high 19.8 points per game and ranks third in the Big 12. She has scored in double figures in 18 games this season.
• In the 2021-22 season, Lee averaged a career-best 22.0 points per game which ranked 10th in the nation and second in the Big 12. Lee was fifth in the nation in total points scored (727).
• Her 22.0 points per game in the 2021-22 season was the highest per game average in school history and was the third time a K-State player averaged 20 or more points in a season and first since Brittany Chambers in the 2012-13 season.
• With her 727 points scored, Lee established a new career single-season high, broke the school record for points in a junior season and ranked second in school history for points in a single-season. She was the first center in school history to score 700 or more points in a season.Â
• Lee was the fifth player in school history with three or more consecutive seasons with 400 or more points in a season.
• With her efforts of 61 points against Oklahoma on Jan. 23 and 43 points against Central Arkansas on Nov. 9, Lee was one of three players in the nation during the 2021-22 season with two games of 40 or more points scored in a game.
• Her total of 86 points in two games from Jan. 19 to Jan. 23, set the school record for most points in consecutive games. She also set the school record for points in a 10-game span from Dec. 11, 2021 to Jan. 26, 2022, with 277 points. During that 10-game span, Lee scored 20 or more points in six games including four games with 30 or more points.
Lee Nears Career Boards Record
• Ayoka Lee has continued to own the glass in her K-State career and is moving closer to the top spot in program history.
• Lee ranks second in school history for career rebounds with 1,040 and was the second player in school history with 1,000 or more career rebounds.
• With 48 rebounds, Lee will surpass Kendra Wecker (2001-05; 1,087) for the school record for rebounds in a career.Â
• She owns the school record for career rebounding average and ranks fourth in Big 12 history at 9.8 rebounds per game.
• Among active NCAA Division I players, Lee ranks eighth in the nation for career rebounding average and ninth for total rebounds.
• She owns the school record for career games with 15 or more rebounds (8).
• This season, Lee leads the Wildcats with 8.1 rebounds per game. She ranks fifth in the Big 12 for rebounds per game.
• In her last active season of 2021-22, Lee ranked second in the Big 12 and 31st in the nation with 10.3 rebounds per game. She ranked 17th in the nation in total rebounds (339). In Big 12-only games, Lee was second in the league in rebounding with 9.78 per game.Â

• Ayoka Lee remains one of the top shot blockers in the nation and has the numbers to back it up.
• In her career, Lee has 291 career blocked shots which is the school record for career blocks. Lee's 291 blocked shots ranks eighth in Big 12 history.Â
• She was the second player in school history to reach the 275-block mark. She owns the school record for career blocks per game at 2.75.Â
• Among active NCAA Division I players, Lee ranks fourth for career blocks and is fifth for career blocks per game average.
• She has 77 career games with two or more blocks and 20 career games with five or more blocks. She owns the school record for career games with five or more blocks. Lee holds the school record for career games with seven or more blocks (6).
• This season, Lee is averaging 2.95 blocks per game (56 blocks). She leads the Wildcats and is second in the Big 12 and sixth in the nation for blocks per game. Lee is 18th in the nation for total blocks. In Big 12 action, Lee is avergaing 4.67 blocks per game and 28 total blocks.
• In the 2021-22 season, Lee was a semifinalist for the 2022 Naismith Women's National Defensive Player of the Year and was named to her first Big 12 All-Defensive Team and was selected as the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year by the Waco Tribune. • Prior to the only meeting with K-State this season, West Virginia (22-3, 11-3 Big 12) picked up a 70-66 home win over 23rd-ranked Oklahoma on Feb. 17.Â
• The Mountaineers are a sound defensive team, surrendering 59.29 points per game to its opponents in Big 12 action which leads the league.
• On the sideline, West Virginia is led by first-year head coach Mark Kellogg. The 1998 graduate of Austin College owns a career record of 467-123 (.792).
• The Mountaineers are led on the floor by junior guard JJ Quinerly and sophomore guard Jordan Harrison.
• Quinerly, a product of Norfolk, Va., is averaging a team-high and career-best 19.0 points per game and 3.2 steals per game. Against Oklahoma, Quinerly led the Mountaineers with 18 points, five rebounds and two steals.
• Harrison, a guard from Oklahoma City, Okla., is averaging 13.6 points, a team-high 5.5 assists and is second on the team in rebounding with 4.2 per game. Against the Sooners, Harrison tallied 10 points, six rebounds, nine assists and four steals.

• K-State rallied from a 10-point first quarter deficit and won on a Jaelyn Glenn layup with 2.2 seconds left to win its 16th straight home game.
• The Wildcats are 5-2 this season and 47-31 (.603) in the last 12 seasons in games decided by five points or less.
• K-State featured four players in double figures are were led by Gabby Gregory with a season-high 19 points and seven rebounds. Eliza Maupin came off the bench with her first double-double of the season with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Serena Sundell and Zyanna Walker each tallied 10 points.
K-State Among the Rankings
• Kansas State remains in the Associated Press (AP) top-25 poll, as the Wildcats dropped to 10th in the Feb. 19 poll.
• The Wildcats achieved the program's highest ranking in the Jeff Mittie era (2014-present), as the team was ranked 2nd on Jan. 29. It was the highest ranking for the program in the AP poll since Nov. 25, 2002 when K-State was ranked 2nd.
• According to Stats Perform, K-State was the first women's program since the start of the AP poll in 1976 to go from unranked in the preseason to either No. 1 or No. 2 in the same season.
• Since making its poll debut on Nov. 20 this season, K-State has been ranked for 14 consecutive weeks this season. This is the longest consecutive streak for K-State since being ranked for the entirety of the 2004-05 season. In its history, K-State has now been ranked for a total of 188 weeks in the AP poll.
• As an AP ranked team, K-State owns a 244-91 (.728) record.Â
• The Wildcats are ranked 9th in the USA Today/WBCA Coaches Poll. K-State reached a high of 2nd in the Coaches Poll for two straight weeks this season, its highest since being ranked 2nd in the third poll of the 2002-03 season.
• This season is the first time since the 2008-09 season that K-State has been ranked in 13 straight USA Today/WBCA Coaches Polls.
K-State Against Ranked Opponents
• The Wildcats are 91-240 (.275) against teams ranked in the Associated Press (AP) poll including a 57-69 (.452) mark against AP ranked teams in Manhattan.
• The Wildcats are 4-2 this season against AP top-25 opponents and are one of 14 teams in the nation with four wins against AP top-25 foes.Â
• This is the 10th time in program history that K-State has won four or more games against AP ranked foes in a season. The four wins are the most since the 2016-17 season when the Wildcats won four games against ranked opponents.Â
• The Wildcats captured its second-ever win over an Associated Press number two ranked foe and first since the 1982-83 season by defeating then-second-ranked Iowa, 65-58, on Nov. 16, 2023 in Iowa City. K-State is 24-113 (.175) all-time in games against AP top-10 opponents.
• This was the highest ranked opponent K-State has defeated on the road.
• According to ESPN Stats & Info, K-State became the first NCAA Division I women's basketball program in the last 25 years to be unranked and defeat the same Associated Press top-5 team in consecutive seasons.
• According to Stats Perform, K-State is the sixth team to defeat an AP second-ranked team on the road since 1999-00.
• The wins over Iowa and 10th-ranked Texas marked the third and fourth top-10 wins for the Wildcats in three seasons, as K-State downed fourth-ranked Iowa on Nov. 17, 2022, and 10th-ranked Baylor on Jan. 2, 2022.
• K-State is 19-63 (.232) against AP ranked opponents in head coach Jeff Mittie's 10 seasons.
Wildcats Near 400 Wins in Bramlage
• K-State is 394-154 (.719) all-time inside Bramlage Coliseum, which is in its 36th season of existence.
• This season, the Wildcats are 14-0 in Bramlage which is the longest in-season win streak since 2002-03 (19). When including its two wins in the 2023 WNIT at the end of the 2022-23 season, K-State is currently on a 16-game home court winning streak, the longest in the Jeff Mittie era and tied for the fifth-longest in program history and tied for the second-longest at Bramlage.
• This is the 33rd time in program history that the Wildcats reached double figures in home victories. It is the 25th season K-State has won 10 or more games in Bramlage.
• Over the last three seasons, K-State is 43-7 (.860) in home contests. This is the highest home winning percentage over a three-season span under Mittie.
• In his career in games played in his home venue, Mittie is 398-111 (.782) including an 124-46 (.729) record at K-State.
• Kansas State has protected Bramlage Coliseum with determination against non-conference foes with a record of 228-29 (.887) with an active 28-game winning streak against non-con opponents. Mittie is 74-8 (.902) in non-conference games in Bramlage.
• The Wildcats carded a 15-4 record at home in the 2022-23 season and tied the longest home-court winning streak in the Mittie era to open the season with nine wins.

• This season, the Wildcats rank 24th in the nation and fifth in the Big 12 for total attendance (69,612). K-State is 25th in the nation and fifth in the league in average attendance (4,972 average; 14 home games).
• K-State's total attendance this season of 69,612 ranks 10th in school history for a season. The average attendance this season of 4,972 ranks seventh in school history.
• K-State had a season-high 9,602 fans against Kansas on Jan. 20, 2024. This was the largest women's basketball crowd in Bramlage Coliseum since Dec. 11, 2016, against UConn.
• When the crowd is 7,500 or more in Bramlage Coliseum, K-State is 45-12 (.789) including a record of 18-5 (.783) when the crowd is 10,000 or more.
• The Wildcats moved into Bramlage Coliseum prior to the start of the 1988-89 season and have seen 2,037,948 fans pass through the doors. K-State reached the 2,000,000 mark for women's basketball attendance on Jan. 13, 2024 against Texas.
Three is not a Crowd, It's a Benefit
• Since 2011-12, when three or more players reach double figures in scoring in the same game, K-State is 174-83 (.677) including a 17-3 record this season.
• The Wildcats had a season-high five players reach double figures against Oklahoma on Jan. 10 and again at Iowa State on Feb. 14.
• This season, the duo of Ayoka Lee and Gabby Gregory have scored in double figures in the same game six times including a combined 40 points against Oral Roberts on Dec. 18.
• The tandem of Jaelyn Glenn and Serena Sundell have scored in double figures in the same game 26 times since teaming up in Manhattan at the start of the 2021-22 season.
Cats Send Back Shots Under Mittie
• During the Jeff Mittie era, K-State has dealt out rejection to its opponents and has maintained a high rate in the 2023-24 season.
• This season, K-State has registered 149 blocked shots (5.7 bpg) and lead the Big 12 and are seventh in the nation for blocks per game. Of the 13 active players on the roster, 11 have recorded at least one blocked shot.
• K-State has a blocked shot differential of +91 this season (149-58). Since blocks became official in 1982-83, K-State has 21 seasons with a positive blocked shot differential including a school record +73 (163-90) in the 2005-06 season.
• With 22 blocks, K-State will set the school record for blocked shots in a season.
• The Wildcats have four games with 10 or more blocks, with 12 against McNeese State on Dec. 6 and Oklahoma on Jan. 10, 11 blocks against Presbyterian on Nov. 6 and 10 against Oral Roberts on Dec. 18. The 12 blocks against McNeese State and Oklahoma are tied for the third-most for a single-game in program history. The 12 blocks against Oklahoma set the school record for blocked shots in a conference game.
• Of the 33 missed shots by the Blue Hose, 33 percent were due to a Wildcat blocked shot.
• Under Mittie, K-State has blocked 10 or more shots in a game 16 times, including a school record of 14 at Tulsa on Nov. 13, 2015. K-State is 15-1 during the Mittie era when blocking 10 or more shots.
• During the Mittie era, Kansas State has sent back 1,498 shots for 4.73 per game in the 317 games. K-State has blocked 120 or more shots in each of Mittie's 10 seasons, the longest streak of 120 or more blocks in program history.
• The 1,498 blocks in the 10 seasons are the most in any 10-season span in program history.
Wildcats Picking Pockets
• The Wildcats continue to swipe the basketball at a high rate. K-State has 235 steals (9.0 spg) this season. Of the 432 opponent turnovers this season, 54.4 percent have come off a K-State steal.
• K-State has 12 games with 10 or more steals this season, including a season-high of 18 against Presbyterian.
• Since joining the Wildcats as freshmen in the 2021-22 season, the trio of the Glenn sisters and Serena Sundell have combined for 462 steals (4.86 per game in 95 games). The 462 steals in the last three seasons are 56.6 percent of K-State's 816 total steals.
• Kansas State displayed quick hands in the 2022-23 season, as the Wildcats pocketed 336 steals and were second in the Big 12 in steals per game (9.33 spg). Of the 614 opponent turnovers, 54.7 percent came by way of a K-State steal.Â
• K-State featured three players with 60 or more steals last season: Jaelyn Glenn (91), Sundell (67) and Brylee Glenn (61). The trio had the most combined steals of any three teammates in the Big 12 last season (219).
• Since at least the 2009-10 season, the 2022-23 season marked the first time K-State featured three players with 60 or more steals.
Sundell Top-5 for Career Assists
• Serena Sundell has established herself at the point for K-State with her distribution skills.
• Sundell, who was a candidate for the 2023-24 Nancy Lieberman Award, owns a career total of 494 and ranks fifth on the K-State career assists list. She is the seventh player in school history with 400 or more career assists.
• Sundell ranks second in school history for career assists per game at 5.25. She ranks eighth in the nation among active NCAA Division I players for career assists per game.
• She has 60 career games with five or more assists including threeÂ
games with 10 or more assists and a career-high of 11 assists.
• Her career assist to turnover ratio of 1.71 is fourth in program history (min. 100 career assists).
• This season, Sundell is averaging 5.35 assists per game (139 assists) and ranks second in the Big 12 for assists per game and leads the league in total assists. In league action, Sundell is second in the league at 5.85 assists per game. She is the fifth player in program history with three or more consecutive seasons with 100 or more assists.
• In the 2022-23 season, Sundell handed out a career-high 184 assists (5.11 apg) including a season-high 10 against Oklahoma State on Jan. 4.
• Sundell was the second player in program history (Shalee Lehning, 368) with 350 or more assists by the conclusion of their sophomore season.
• Sundell's 184 assists last season set the school record for assists in a sophomore season and ranked as the sixth-most in a season in program history.
Sundell Surpasses 1K Mark
• In addition to her distribution skills, guard Serena Sundell adds a scoring punch to the K-State lineup.
• During her career, Sundell has scored 1,162 points (12.2 ppg) and was the 45th player in school history to score 1,000 points in her career and currently ranks 30th on the K-State career scoring list. She has tallied double figures in 64 career games.
• This season, Sundell is averaging 11.9 points on a career-high .541 field goal percentage. She registered a personal season-high 22 points at UCF on Jan. 6 and has scored in double figures in 18 games, including three games with 20 or more. She has scored in double figures in 12 straight games. In Big 12 games, Sundell is averaging 14.4 points per game on a .551 field goal percentage. She ranks eighth in the league in scoring and is second in the league in field goal percentage.Â
• During the 2022-23 season, Sundell was second on the team and 12th in the Big 12 in scoring with 13.9 points per game on a career-best .489 field goal percentage. In Big 12 games, she averaged 15.11 points and ranked eighth in the league.
• Sundell recorded a personal career-high 501 points last season. She was the seventh player in program history to score 500 or more points in their sophomore season. Her total ranked tied for sixth for a sophomore season at K-State.
• In the 2022-23 season, the product of Maryville, Missouri, scored in double figures in 26 games including eight games with 20 or more points, which ranked tied for sixth in the Big 12 last season.
• At Oklahoma on March 1, Sundell carded a career-high 33 points on 11-of-17 shooting. She joined Gabby Gregory as the only Wildcats last season with 30 or more points in a game.
• Sundell earned Big 12 Player of the Week honors for the first time in her career by leading the Big 12 in scoring (22.5) during the week of games on Feb. 20-26.
• Against Kansas on Feb. 22, Sundell registered the most unique stat line in the nation. According to Stats Perform, Sundell was the only player last season, one of four since 1999-00 and the only player in the Big 12 since 1999-00 to record 24 points on 80 percent shooting and also registering seven assists, five rebounds, four steals and one block.
Gregory Scores It
• Guard Gabby Gregory was a dynamic addition to the K-State lineup in the 2022-23 season.
• In her career, Gregory has scored 1,673 points (12.6 ppg). She is the first player to transfer to K-State and then reach the 1,000- and 1,500-point marks in her collegiate career.
• Gregory has scored in double figures 81 times in her career, including 40 games at K-State.
Nobody Scores It Like Ayoka Lee
• Ayoka Lee has moved into the top-5 for career scoring at K-State and has a chance to achieve the school career scoring record.
• In her career, Lee has scored 2,037 points in 106 career games (19.2 ppg) and ranks fourth in school history for career points scored. Her career scoring average of 19.2 ranks first in school history, ninth in Big 12 history and sixth among active NCAA Division I players.
• To surpass Kendra Wecker (2001-05; 2,333), Lee needs to score 297 points.
• She was the 44th player in school history with 1,000 or more career points and was the fastest player in program history to reach 1,500 career points, needing 77 games to reach the milestone. She was the first player in school history to reach the 1,000-career point mark and the 1,500-career point mark in the same season.
• Lee has scored in every game of her career (106 games) and has reached double figures in 97 games which includes a career-best streak of 28 straight games in double figures dating back to the final five games of the 2020-21 season until Feb. 9, 2022.
• This season, Lee is averaging a team-high 19.8 points per game and ranks third in the Big 12. She has scored in double figures in 18 games this season.
• In the 2021-22 season, Lee averaged a career-best 22.0 points per game which ranked 10th in the nation and second in the Big 12. Lee was fifth in the nation in total points scored (727).
• Her 22.0 points per game in the 2021-22 season was the highest per game average in school history and was the third time a K-State player averaged 20 or more points in a season and first since Brittany Chambers in the 2012-13 season.
• With her 727 points scored, Lee established a new career single-season high, broke the school record for points in a junior season and ranked second in school history for points in a single-season. She was the first center in school history to score 700 or more points in a season.Â
• Lee was the fifth player in school history with three or more consecutive seasons with 400 or more points in a season.
• With her efforts of 61 points against Oklahoma on Jan. 23 and 43 points against Central Arkansas on Nov. 9, Lee was one of three players in the nation during the 2021-22 season with two games of 40 or more points scored in a game.
• Her total of 86 points in two games from Jan. 19 to Jan. 23, set the school record for most points in consecutive games. She also set the school record for points in a 10-game span from Dec. 11, 2021 to Jan. 26, 2022, with 277 points. During that 10-game span, Lee scored 20 or more points in six games including four games with 30 or more points.
Lee Nears Career Boards Record
• Ayoka Lee has continued to own the glass in her K-State career and is moving closer to the top spot in program history.
• Lee ranks second in school history for career rebounds with 1,040 and was the second player in school history with 1,000 or more career rebounds.
• With 48 rebounds, Lee will surpass Kendra Wecker (2001-05; 1,087) for the school record for rebounds in a career.Â
• She owns the school record for career rebounding average and ranks fourth in Big 12 history at 9.8 rebounds per game.
• Among active NCAA Division I players, Lee ranks eighth in the nation for career rebounding average and ninth for total rebounds.
• She owns the school record for career games with 15 or more rebounds (8).
• This season, Lee leads the Wildcats with 8.1 rebounds per game. She ranks fifth in the Big 12 for rebounds per game.
• In her last active season of 2021-22, Lee ranked second in the Big 12 and 31st in the nation with 10.3 rebounds per game. She ranked 17th in the nation in total rebounds (339). In Big 12-only games, Lee was second in the league in rebounding with 9.78 per game.Â
• With her 339 rebounds during the 2021-22 season, Lee set a new career single-season high and broke the school record for rebounds in a single-season.
• Lee was the eighth player in school history with three or more consecutive seasons with 200 or more rebounds and was the second player in program history (Peyton Williams) with two or more seasons with 300 or more rebounds.
Lee The Queen of the Block
• Ayoka Lee remains one of the top shot blockers in the nation and has the numbers to back it up.
• In her career, Lee has 291 career blocked shots which is the school record for career blocks. Lee's 291 blocked shots ranks eighth in Big 12 history.Â
• She was the second player in school history to reach the 275-block mark. She owns the school record for career blocks per game at 2.75.Â
• Among active NCAA Division I players, Lee ranks fourth for career blocks and is fifth for career blocks per game average.
• She has 77 career games with two or more blocks and 20 career games with five or more blocks. She owns the school record for career games with five or more blocks. Lee holds the school record for career games with seven or more blocks (6).
• This season, Lee is averaging 2.95 blocks per game (56 blocks). She leads the Wildcats and is second in the Big 12 and sixth in the nation for blocks per game. Lee is 18th in the nation for total blocks. In Big 12 action, Lee is avergaing 4.67 blocks per game and 28 total blocks.
• In the 2021-22 season, Lee was a semifinalist for the 2022 Naismith Women's National Defensive Player of the Year and was named to her first Big 12 All-Defensive Team and was selected as the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year by the Waco Tribune. She had a career-high 95 blocks (2.88 bpg) and was fourth in the nation in total blocks and sixth for blocks per game. She also has a career-high 39 steals (1.2 spg).
• Her total of 95 blocks ranked second in school history for blocks in a season and set the school record for blocks by a junior. This was the second time in her career Lee reached 90 or more blocks in a season (91; 2019-20). She is the first player in school history with at least two seasons with 90 or more blocks.Â
• Lee's combined total of blocks and steals, 134, during the 2021-22 season established a new career-high and was the third-highest single season total in program history.
• Lee set a new career-high and tied for second in program history for a single-game with eight blocks against North Dakota State on Nov. 29. Her eight blocks tied for the eighth-highest total for a single-game in the 2021-22 season in the nation and were the most by a Big 12 player.
