2025 K-State Season in Review

MANHATTAN, Kansas - K-State (7-6-5, 2-5-4 Big 12) soccer completed its 10th season of action and its ninth in Big 12 play in 2025.
• In the first season under the direction of head coach Colleen Corbin, the Wildcats secured the first winning season in program history and a record for points in the Big 12 standings (10).
• K-State's points leaders for the 2025 season were sophomore Hannah Palmer with 14 points (5 goals, 4 assists), senior Andra Mohler with 11 points (5 goals, 1 assist), sophomore Allison Marshall with 10 points (4 goals, 2 assists) and junior Rilyn Rintoul with nine points (4 goals, 1 assist).
• In frame, the Wildcats were led by sophomore goalkeeper Maddie Sibbing with a record-setting season. Sibbing registered a record of 7-6-5 and a school record nine shutouts.
2025 Season Snapshot
• K-State got off on the right foot, securing its first unbeaten August in program history (4-0-0) and ran its unbeaten streak to five with a draw at Harvard to begin September.
• The Wildcats ended a 20-match winless streak in Big 12 games (0-16-4) with its 2-1 win at Oklahoma State on Oct. 10, collecting its first league win since October 5, 2023 against Houston. The victory also stopped a 13-match road winless streak in Big 12 games (0-10-3) with its last Big 12 road win coming on October 9, 2022.
• K-State registered its best winning percentage (.375, 2-4-2) in the month of October.

• K-State has set the school record for goals in a season during the 2025 season.
• The Wildcats registered 23 goals this season, which was a school record 1.28 per match. This was the second season in program history with 20 or more goals scored.
• In Big 12 action, K-State scored 10 goals which tied the school record for goals in a league season.
• K-State scored mutiple goals in a match nine times this season, setting the single season school record for matches with two or more goals scored.
• In program history, the Wildcats have seen 49 players register at least one career goal and the overall goal total stands at 161.
Game-Winning Goals for All
• Through 175 matches in program history, K-State has registered 45 victories. In those 45 wins, K-State has had 27 different players register a game-winning goal.
• Sophomore Hannah Palmer tied the school record for game-winning goals in a single season and set the school record for game-winning goals in a sophomore season with her three. She tallied the winners against Portland State on Aug. 17, at South Dakota on Aug. 21 and at Oklahoma State on Oct. 10. She was the second player in program history to register a game-winning goal in consecutive matches.
• Senior forward Andra Mohler notched her second game-winning goal of the season on a penalty kick against Colorado College on Sept. 11.
• Mohler and Palmer are the first set of K-State teammates to register two or more game-winning goals in the same season.
• Junior forward Rilyn Rintoul recorded her first career goal and the winner against Oral Roberts on Aug. 14.
• Last season, Allison Marshall added her name to the game-winner ledger earlier this season. Marshall was credited with the game-winning goal against both Green Bay on Aug. 29 and South Dakota on Sept. 1. She was the first player in program history to register a game-winning goal in consecutive matches.
• Marshall, Mohler and Palmer are one of five Wildcats in program history to record two or more game-winning goals in a season.
• On the current roster, five Wildcats own at least one game-winning goal: Mohler (3), Palmer (3), Marshall (2), Rintoul and Jayce Woodward.
PK Magic
• K-State achieved a program first in its win over Colorado College on Sept. 11.
• The Wildcats attempted and converted a pair of penalty kicks in the first half against the Tigers. Sophomore Allison Marshall finished her attempt in the 19th minute, while senior Andra Mohler converted her attempt in the 26th minute. This was the first career attempts for both players.
• This was the first time in program history K-State attempted two penalty kicks in the same match.
• Marshall was the first Wildcat to make a penalty kick since Riley Baker made a penalty kick at Baylor on Oct. 9, 2022. It was the first successful penalty kick at Buser Family Park for K-State since Oct. 16, 2020, when Brookelynn Entz made a penalty kick against Oklahoma.
• K-State notched its third penalty kick conversion at Oklahoma State on Oct. 10. The Wildcats have broke the school record for penalty kicks attempted and made in a season (3-of-3).
• In its history, K-State is 8-of-14 on penalty kicks.
Peppering Shots
• K-State upped its offensive chances this season and set the school record.
• K-State fired off 259 shots (14.4 spg) including 113 shots on goal. The Wildcats have a +76 margin in shots over its foes (259-183). The 259 total shots rank second in program history for a season.
• The 113 shots on goal set the school record for a season and its 6.28 shots on goal per game set a new school record.
• The Cats held the advantage in shots in 14 of 18 matches this season and were 7-3-3 in Colleen Corbin's first season when outshooting its opponents.
• At Oklahoma State on Oct. 10, K-State set the school record for shots in a Big 12 match with a season-high 25 shots.
Happy Helpers
• The Wildcats helped each other out this season. K-State handed out 22 assists (1.22 apg) on its 23 goals this season.
• The 22 assists and 1.22 assists per game this season set the school records. The Wildcats had 11 assists in Big 12 action, which was a school record in league play.
• The 2024-25 season was the second season in program history with 20 or more assists.
• Junior midfielder McKinnan Braswell and sophomore forward Hannah Palmer lead the Wildcats with four assists each.
Working Out of the Corners
• K-State added extra offensive chances this season by collecting corner kicks.
• K-State recorded 103 corner kicks (5.72 ckpg). K-State's 103 corner kicks this season was a new school record for a season, while its corner kicks per game mark of 5.72 set a new school record for a season.
• This was the first season in program history with 100 or more corner kicks attempted. This was also the first season K-State attempted more corner kicks than its opponents (103-80).
• K-State held the advantage in corner kicks in 10 of 18 matches this season (5-2-3).
• Against Portland State on August 17, the Wildcats registered a season-high 11 corner kicks.
K-State Posts Blank Score Sheets
• K-State registered a school record nine shutouts this season, setting four additional school records in the process.
• For the season, K-State tallied a school record 24 shutout halves and are allowing 1.06 goals per game.
• To open the 2025 season, the Wildcats carded a school record for consecutive shutouts - five - by blanking Oral Roberts, Portland State, South Dakota, UMass Lowell and Harvard. The final number of consecutive shutout minutes was 504:07, with the first goal allowed on the season coming at 54:07 of the second half at Nebraska on Sept. 7, the sixth match of the season.
• K-State set the school records for consecutive shutout minutes in program history, consecutive shutout halves (11), consecutive shutout wins (4) and consecutive games with a shutout (5).
• In its 10 seasons of action, the Wildcats have registered 52 shutouts. Kansas State owns an all-time record of 35-0-17 in games allowing zero goals.
Shot Prevention is Goal Prevention
• K-State prevented opponent shots on goal at a record level this season.
• The Wildcats limited opponents to a school record low 4.2 shots on goal per game and a .415 shots on goal percentage while surrendering 20 goals. The 20 goals allowed were the second fewest surrendered by K-State in a season and the fewest allowed in an 18-game regular season in program history.
• K-State allowed only three goals in non-conference play, the fewest allowed by K-State in non-conference games in program history.
• Against Portland State on Aug. 17, the Wildcats limited the Vikings to one shot on goal on just three total attempts. The three total shots allowed were the fewest by a K-State foe since Aug. 17, 2023 at Green Bay.
• The Wildcats held Cincinnati on Oct. 16 without a shot attempt in the second half and without a shot on goal in the entirety of the game. On Oct. 23 at Houston, K-State held Houston without a shot in the first half.
• The lowest shots on goal percentage allowed by K-State is .360 in the 2023 season.
Game in the Palm(er) of Her Hand
• Hannah Palmer paced the Wildcats' offense this season, as she has tallied five goals, with three of the goals counting as game-winners, and four assists.
• With her stat line this season, Palmer established career season-highs for goals, assists and points. She owns the school records for game-winning goals in a sophomore season, goals in a sophomore season, tied the school record for game-winning goals in a season, tied the school record for assists and points in a sophomore season. Her 14 points this season ranks second in program history for a single season.
• On Oct. 10 at Oklahoma State, Palmer tallied her first career multi-goal match as she tallied two goals and a career-high for points (4).
• At UMass Lowell on Aug. 28, Palmer tied the school record for consecutive matches with a point as she carded her first career three-point night with a goal and an assist.
• In her career, Palmer owns six goals, four assists and 16 points. She owns a career shots on goal percentage of .490 (24-of-49).She ranks tied for seventh in school history for career goals, sixth for career points and tied for 10th for career assists.
Impact from Mohler
• With her production this season, senior forward Andra Mohler put together a career year and added her name to a pair of K-State career lists.
• The product of Bixby, Oklahoma, registered the game-winner at UMass Lowell on Aug. 28 and earned the game-winner against Colorado College on Sept. 11. This was Mohler's second and third career game-winning goals. She tied for second in program history for game-winning goals in a senior season.
• With her goal at Kansas on October 2, Mohler became the ninth player in program history with five or more career goals. Her five goals this season were a career-high and rank tied for third in program history for a season.
• For her career, Mohler has scored seven goals and dished out two assists. She owns a career shots on goal percentage of .437.
• She ranks tied for fourth in school history for career goals, sixth for career shots on goal (31) and seventh for career matches played (66). Mohler is tied for third in program history for career game-winning goals (3).
Happy Return For Woodward
• Jayce Woodward made a successful return to the pitch following a 2024 season derailed by a season-ending knee injury suffered at Portland State on Aug. 22, 2024.
• This season, Woodward played in a career-high 13 matches and carded a goal and three assists. She set the school record for assists in Big 12 play with three.
• Against Cincinnati on Oct. 16, Woodward tallied a career-high three points with the game-winning goal and an assist on the insurance goal.
• In her 15 matches with K-State, Woodward has two goals and three assists with 29 total shots with 13 on goal.
Marshall Plan
• Allison Marshall registered career season-highs in 2025.
• The sophomore forward from Omaha, Nebraska, registered a career-high four goals and tied her career-high with two assists this season, including an indirect kick goal at UMass Lowell on Aug. 28 and her first career penalty kick attempt and goal against Colorado College on Sept. 11. She also notched a career season-high 31 shots with a career-best 17 on goal.
• In her career, Marshall owns six goals and four assists for 16 points. She owns a career shots on goal percentage of .550 (22-of-40).
• She is tied for seventh in program history for career goals scored, ranks tied for sixth for career points (16) and is tied for fourth in school history for career game-winning goals (2). She was the eighth player in school history with five or more goals scored in a career.
Braswell Playing Well
• Junior midfielder/forward McKinnan Braswell has been a potent distributor in her first season with the Wildcats.
• The native of North Richland Hills, Texas, tied for the team lead for assists with four.
• With her four assists this season, Braswell is tied for third in program history for assists in a season.
• At UMass Lowell on Aug. 28, Braswell handed out a career-high two assists.
• Braswell added to her stat ledger against West Virginia on Oct. 19, as she carded her first K-State goal. She is fourth on the squad in total shots (27). Her assists and total shots are new career-highs for a single season.
Return of Rintoul
• Rilyn Rintoul made a successful return to the pitch following a 2024 season derailed by a season-ending knee injury suffered at Portland State on Aug. 22, 2024.
• Against Oral Roberts in the season-opener on Aug. 14 and her first match back from her injury, Rintoul scored the game-winning goal in the 61st minute. The tally was her first career goal and the first goal of the 2025 season for the Wildcats.
• Against West Virginia on Oct. 19, Rintoul finished a cross for her third goal of the season and her first career Big 12 goal.
• She added her second goal in Big 12 play and her fourth of the season with K-State's final goal of the 2025 season against Iowa State on Oct. 30.
• For the season, Rintoul tallied a career-high four goals and an assist. She also notched a career-best 23 shots with 11 on goal. She ranks tied for second in school history for goals in a junior season and ranks third for points in a junior season (9). Her 11 shots on goal ranks fourth in a junior season.
• Rintoul was the eighth player in program history to score two or more goals in Big 12 play and the third this season (Mohler and Palmer).
Sibbing in Frame
• Maddie Sibbing put her stamp on the 2025 season and etched her name in the program record book.
• The two-time Big 12 Goalkeeper of the Week, Sibbing did not surrender a goal in the first five matches of her time with K-State and set the school record for consecutive shutout minutes (504:07).
• Sibbing was the first Wildcat keeper to register four straight shutout wins and the first to card five shutouts in her first five games in goal with the Wildcats.
• She tallied a career-best nine shutouts this season to collect the school record for shutouts in a season.
• For the season, Sibbing is 7-6-5 with a 1.11 goals against average, a .737 save percentage and nine shutouts. Her seven wins are a new career-high. She was tied for second in the Big 12 for shutouts.
• She has set the school record for wins in a season (7) and owns the school records for shutouts in a sophomore season and wins in a sophomore season.
• In her collegiate career, Sibbing owns a career record of 10-12-6 with 10 shutouts.
Walrod on the Wall
• Junior defender Reece Walrod has been a mainstay along the defensive backline for the Wildcats over the last two seasons.
• Walrod has started 41 consecutive matches on the backline dating back to Oct. 5, 2023, against Houston.
• This season, Walrod was the only field player in the Big 12 to play every minute of every match this season. She became the first K-State field player to achieve the feat.
• Walrod has played 90 minutes in 27 career matches including 19 straight matches and 24 of the last 25 matches.
• In her career, Walrod has played 3,782 minutes in 51 career matches (74.2 mpg). She is 53 minutes away from moving into 10th on the K-State career minutes played list.

• K-State set the school records for consecutive shutout minutes in program history, consecutive shutout halves (11), consecutive shutout wins (4) and consecutive games with a shutout (5).
• In its 10 seasons of action, the Wildcats have registered 52 shutouts. Kansas State owns an all-time record of 35-0-17 in games allowing zero goals.
Shot Prevention is Goal Prevention
• K-State prevented opponent shots on goal at a record level this season.
• The Wildcats limited opponents to a school record low 4.2 shots on goal per game and a .415 shots on goal percentage while surrendering 20 goals. The 20 goals allowed were the second fewest surrendered by K-State in a season and the fewest allowed in an 18-game regular season in program history.
• K-State allowed only three goals in non-conference play, the fewest allowed by K-State in non-conference games in program history.
• Against Portland State on Aug. 17, the Wildcats limited the Vikings to one shot on goal on just three total attempts. The three total shots allowed were the fewest by a K-State foe since Aug. 17, 2023 at Green Bay.
• The Wildcats held Cincinnati on Oct. 16 without a shot attempt in the second half and without a shot on goal in the entirety of the game. On Oct. 23 at Houston, K-State held Houston without a shot in the first half.
• The lowest shots on goal percentage allowed by K-State is .360 in the 2023 season.
Game in the Palm(er) of Her Hand
• Hannah Palmer paced the Wildcats' offense this season, as she has tallied five goals, with three of the goals counting as game-winners, and four assists.
• With her stat line this season, Palmer established career season-highs for goals, assists and points. She owns the school records for game-winning goals in a sophomore season, goals in a sophomore season, tied the school record for game-winning goals in a season, tied the school record for assists and points in a sophomore season. Her 14 points this season ranks second in program history for a single season.
• On Oct. 10 at Oklahoma State, Palmer tallied her first career multi-goal match as she tallied two goals and a career-high for points (4).
• At UMass Lowell on Aug. 28, Palmer tied the school record for consecutive matches with a point as she carded her first career three-point night with a goal and an assist.
• In her career, Palmer owns six goals, four assists and 16 points. She owns a career shots on goal percentage of .490 (24-of-49).She ranks tied for seventh in school history for career goals, sixth for career points and tied for 10th for career assists.
Impact from Mohler
• With her production this season, senior forward Andra Mohler put together a career year and added her name to a pair of K-State career lists.
• The product of Bixby, Oklahoma, registered the game-winner at UMass Lowell on Aug. 28 and earned the game-winner against Colorado College on Sept. 11. This was Mohler's second and third career game-winning goals. She tied for second in program history for game-winning goals in a senior season.
• With her goal at Kansas on October 2, Mohler became the ninth player in program history with five or more career goals. Her five goals this season were a career-high and rank tied for third in program history for a season.
• For her career, Mohler has scored seven goals and dished out two assists. She owns a career shots on goal percentage of .437.
• She ranks tied for fourth in school history for career goals, sixth for career shots on goal (31) and seventh for career matches played (66). Mohler is tied for third in program history for career game-winning goals (3).
Happy Return For Woodward
• Jayce Woodward made a successful return to the pitch following a 2024 season derailed by a season-ending knee injury suffered at Portland State on Aug. 22, 2024.
• This season, Woodward played in a career-high 13 matches and carded a goal and three assists. She set the school record for assists in Big 12 play with three.
• Against Cincinnati on Oct. 16, Woodward tallied a career-high three points with the game-winning goal and an assist on the insurance goal.
• In her 15 matches with K-State, Woodward has two goals and three assists with 29 total shots with 13 on goal.
Marshall Plan
• Allison Marshall registered career season-highs in 2025.
• The sophomore forward from Omaha, Nebraska, registered a career-high four goals and tied her career-high with two assists this season, including an indirect kick goal at UMass Lowell on Aug. 28 and her first career penalty kick attempt and goal against Colorado College on Sept. 11. She also notched a career season-high 31 shots with a career-best 17 on goal.
• In her career, Marshall owns six goals and four assists for 16 points. She owns a career shots on goal percentage of .550 (22-of-40).
• She is tied for seventh in program history for career goals scored, ranks tied for sixth for career points (16) and is tied for fourth in school history for career game-winning goals (2). She was the eighth player in school history with five or more goals scored in a career.
Braswell Playing Well
• Junior midfielder/forward McKinnan Braswell has been a potent distributor in her first season with the Wildcats.
• The native of North Richland Hills, Texas, tied for the team lead for assists with four.
• With her four assists this season, Braswell is tied for third in program history for assists in a season.
• At UMass Lowell on Aug. 28, Braswell handed out a career-high two assists.
• Braswell added to her stat ledger against West Virginia on Oct. 19, as she carded her first K-State goal. She is fourth on the squad in total shots (27). Her assists and total shots are new career-highs for a single season.
Return of Rintoul
• Rilyn Rintoul made a successful return to the pitch following a 2024 season derailed by a season-ending knee injury suffered at Portland State on Aug. 22, 2024.
• Against Oral Roberts in the season-opener on Aug. 14 and her first match back from her injury, Rintoul scored the game-winning goal in the 61st minute. The tally was her first career goal and the first goal of the 2025 season for the Wildcats.
• Against West Virginia on Oct. 19, Rintoul finished a cross for her third goal of the season and her first career Big 12 goal.
• She added her second goal in Big 12 play and her fourth of the season with K-State's final goal of the 2025 season against Iowa State on Oct. 30.
• For the season, Rintoul tallied a career-high four goals and an assist. She also notched a career-best 23 shots with 11 on goal. She ranks tied for second in school history for goals in a junior season and ranks third for points in a junior season (9). Her 11 shots on goal ranks fourth in a junior season.
• Rintoul was the eighth player in program history to score two or more goals in Big 12 play and the third this season (Mohler and Palmer).
Sibbing in Frame
• Maddie Sibbing put her stamp on the 2025 season and etched her name in the program record book.
• The two-time Big 12 Goalkeeper of the Week, Sibbing did not surrender a goal in the first five matches of her time with K-State and set the school record for consecutive shutout minutes (504:07).
• Sibbing was the first Wildcat keeper to register four straight shutout wins and the first to card five shutouts in her first five games in goal with the Wildcats.
• She tallied a career-best nine shutouts this season to collect the school record for shutouts in a season.
• For the season, Sibbing is 7-6-5 with a 1.11 goals against average, a .737 save percentage and nine shutouts. Her seven wins are a new career-high. She was tied for second in the Big 12 for shutouts.
• She has set the school record for wins in a season (7) and owns the school records for shutouts in a sophomore season and wins in a sophomore season.
• In her collegiate career, Sibbing owns a career record of 10-12-6 with 10 shutouts.
Walrod on the Wall
• Junior defender Reece Walrod has been a mainstay along the defensive backline for the Wildcats over the last two seasons.
• Walrod has started 41 consecutive matches on the backline dating back to Oct. 5, 2023, against Houston.
• This season, Walrod was the only field player in the Big 12 to play every minute of every match this season. She became the first K-State field player to achieve the feat.
• Walrod has played 90 minutes in 27 career matches including 19 straight matches and 24 of the last 25 matches.
• In her career, Walrod has played 3,782 minutes in 51 career matches (74.2 mpg). She is 53 minutes away from moving into 10th on the K-State career minutes played list.
