COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – K-State held back a pesky Colorado College on Sunday afternoon at Stewart Field, as the Wildcats secured their fifth win of the season with a 3-2 decision. This is the first time in school history K-State has gone unbeaten in non-conference action.

K-State (5-0-3) has secured five wins in non-conference action for the second straight season and the fourth time in school history.

Combined with its home draw to end the 2025 season, Kansas State is unbeaten in its last nine matches which is a school record for the longest unbeaten streak in program history.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the 22^nd minute, Wildcat senior forward Rilyn Rintoul floated a left-footed attempt from an impossible angle a yard off the touch line. The ball sailed over the outstretched hands of Colorado College goalkeeper Regan Wallace and nestled into the side-netting near the right post for a 1-0 K-State lead. Senior midfielder Anna Pagano and sophomore defender Sydney Coffman were credited with assists on the goal.
- This was Rintoul's third goal of the season and the seventh of her career.
- In the 36th minute, freshman defender Lauren Moylan achieved a rare type of goal to give the Wildcats a 2-0 lead. Junior defender Emerson DeLuca earned the Wildcats a corner kick. Moylan stepped over the ball and with her left foot scored an Olimpico, directly off the corner and in the side-netting near the left post. This was Moylan's second goal of the season.
- Moylan is the second player in program history to score directly on a corner kick, joining Katie Cramer from the first match in program history at Saint Louis on August 19, 2016, to achieve the feat.
- In the 55th minute, Colorado College (2-4-2) pulled one goal back, 2-1. K-State goalkeeper Maddie Sibbing made an initial save on a Tigers shot attempt but the rebound fell to the foot of Bella Stewart who finished the chance on the right side of frame.
- In the 71st minute, sophomore forward Gabby DeMers was played through the Colorado College defensive backline by sophomore midfielder Langley Mayers. DeMers went in with only the keeper to beat and scored just under the crossbar. This was DeMers' team-leading fourth of the season and second on this road trip. The goal would prove to be the game-winning goal, which was the first of DeMers' career.
- In the 88th minute, Colorado College was gifted a penalty kick which Stewart finished into the lower left corner.
- Sibbing earned her fifth win of the season and the 12^th of her K-State career. With the win, she is the K-State career wins leader. On the afternoon, she made five saves which marked her third game this season with five or more saves and her sixth game at K-State with five or more saves.
- The Wildcats held a 17-13 edge in total shots. K-State put 12 of its attempts on goal, which is tied for sixth in program history for shots on goal in a match.

QUICK FACTS
- Head coach Colleen Corbin is 34-30-20 (.524) in her five career seasons as a head coach. She owns a 12-6-8 (.615) mark in her two seasons at K-State.
- The Wildcats are 20-55-19 (.314) in road matches in their history, including a 5-3-6 record in the Corbin era.
- This was the second meeting in the series between K-State and Colorado College; K-State leads the series, 2-0-0.
- The Wildcats are 6-1-1 all-time in matches against current members of the Mountain West Conference.

- K-State's road unbeaten streak this season stands at four straight, which is the longest in program history.
- K-State held a 2-0 lead at halftime on Sunday. In its history, the Wildcats are 30-8-4 when leading at halftime, including a 7-0-2 mark under Corbin's direction.
- When scoring first, the Wildcats own an all-time record of 45-15-6, including a 10-2-2 record during Corbin's tenure.
- K-State's 18 goals this season are tied for third in a single season in program history. The Wildcats have six multi-goal matches this season. The Wildcats set the top mark in school history last season with 23 total goals and eight matches with two or more goals.
- K-State held the advantage in total shots, 17-13. When doing so, the Wildcats are 38-21-12 in its history, including a 12-3-5 record under Corbin.

PLAYER NOTES
- DeMers moved into a tie for 10th in program history for career goals with five.
- DeMers has a career-high four goals and 10 points this season. She is tied for seventh in school history for goals in a single season. She is also tied for seventh in program history for points in a single season.
- With her goal, Rintoul moved into a tie for fifth in program history for career goals with seven. She is the eighth player in school history with seven or more career goals.
- Rintoul attempted career-highs of seven shots with four on goal. She is tied for seventh in school history for career shots on goal with 29.
- Senior defender Reece Walrod made her 49th consecutive start. This was her 50th career start and her 59th career match played. Walrod ranks tied for eighth in program history for career games started.
- Walrod notched 90 minutes of action. With her 90 minutes on Sunday, Walrod improved her career minutes played total to 4,503 and ranks fifth among field players in program history for career minutes played. She has played the full 90 minutes in 27 consecutive matches and 32 of her last 33 matches. She is the only player at a Power 4 program to play 25 or more consecutive matches of 90 or more minutes.
- Senior forward Rilyn Rintoul, senior midfielder McKinnan Braswell and junior goalkeeper Maddie Sibbing each made their 26^th straight starts at K-State.
- Sophomore midfielder Langley Mayers made her 17^th career start.
- Sophomore defender Sydney Coffman made her first career start and her third career appearance.
- Sophomore Landry Fieker made her first career appearance with the Wildcats.

"We were really excited about how the team came out and competed in the first half. The team responded incredibly well to the scout they were given and executed the game plan at a really high level. We talked about making sure that we came out on the front foot and I absolutely think the team did just that."

On Rintoul's goal and getting shots on frame…
"Absolutely. We always talk about putting the ball in dangerous areas to see what happens and in Rilyn's case, she scored a goal. Really happy for her because she's been creating lots of chances both for herself and her teammates in the last couple of matches, so I'm really glad she was able to see one hit the back of the net today."

On Moylan's Olimpico and the shock of it from the sideline…
"Lauren's goal was definitely surprising and exciting, but that's also that type of whipped in service we have been working on in training. Olimpico goals are always so fun and I'm stoked that we collectively continue to score goals in multiple ways."

On the team pushing for the important third goal in the second half…
"I have continued to be impressed by this team's resilience and competitive mindset. They have proven in this non-conference slate that they are never satisfied, regardless of circumstance or situation and that they will continue to push to score goals and wins games. We were continuing to put Colorado College under pressure and the quality of the build up, the assist and goal itself was really fun to see."

On Sibbing becoming the career wins leader at K-State…
"Maddie has continued to be big time for us in goal and has absolutely set the standard for future generations of K-State goalkeepers. Her continued growth and ability to learn and execute at the highest level has been incredibly impressive and I'm really excited about her continued positive impact both on and off the field."

On how she feels the team was tested this weekend and prepared for Big 12 action…
"Definitely. Every game up to this point has taught us something different about ourselves and this past weekend was no different. We were tested and challenged in different ways and I believe that the team is very prepared to compete at the highest level heading into Big 12 play on Friday. This team is definitely excited to get back home and to compete at Buser in front of our fans."
