A two-time selection to the Class 5A all-state first team... Ranked first in the state in kills, while she was third in hitting percentage as a senior... Named to the Ark Valley League first team as a junior and senior... Twice honors as the Vikings' team most valuable player... Captured the team's Best Blocker Award as both a junior and senior... Named to numerous all-tournament teams during the 2000 and 2001 seasons, including Arkansas City (2000 and 2001), Mulvane (2000) and Andover (2000)... Earned most valuable player honors at the Andover Tournament as a junior... A solid student, she was named to an Outstanding Scholar-Athlete all four years... Also a recipient of the National Student-Athlete "Day" Award three straight years... Lettered one year in swimming and diving... Comes from a very athletic family, as sister, Jane, played basketball and volleyball, while younger sister, JoAnn, plays basketball and throws the shot put... Would like to pursue career in criminology... Is undecided on a major.
