
K-State Soccer Sets Schedule for Fifth Season of Action

MANHATTAN, Kansas – Kansas State soccer, entering its fifth season of action in 2020, will play a nine-match Big 12 schedule in a nine-week span. The nine-match schedule includes five home matches at Buser Family Park. All Big 12 teams are not permitted to play any non-conference opponents this fall.
K-State opens its 2020 schedule with three of its first four matches at home. The Wildcats begin the abbreviated slate against 2020 Big 12 coaches poll favorite Texas Tech on Friday, September 11.
The Wildcats will then travel to West Virginia on Friday, September 18, for a 6 p.m. (CT), kick-off.
K-State returns home for the next two weeks, as the Wildcats host TCU on Friday, September 25, at 7 p.m. The Wildcats will end the stretch by hosting Sunflower Showdown rival Kansas on Friday, October 2, at 7 p.m.
After hosting the Jayhawks, K-State will play three of its next four matches on the road. The Wildcats will travel to Austin, Texas, to face Texas on Friday, October 9, at 5 p.m. K-State will host Oklahoma on Friday, October 16, at 7 p.m., and then return to the road for matches at Baylor on Friday, October 23, at 7 p.m., and at Iowa State on Friday, October 30, at 7 p.m.
K-State will cap its 2020 schedule at Buser Family Park on Friday, November 6, at 7 p.m., against Oklahoma State. This will be the first match K-State will play in the month of November. Oklahoma State was voted to finish second in the Big 12 preseason coaches poll for the 2020 season.
Matches could be played beyond November 6 as possible make-up matches.
K-State returns 17 letter winners and welcomes in 11 newcomers for the 2020 season. Brookelynn Entz, the first All-Big 12 selection in program history, returns for her senior season as the team's top returning scorer with 10 points in 2019.
There will be no season tickets for the 2020 season. Renewal information for the 2021 season will be sent out to K-State Soccer season ticket holders next year.
All single-game tickets for the 2020 season will be available for purchase beginning 24 hours in advance of each match through kstatesports.com/tickets or on a walk-up basis on gameday. Due to capacity limitations and to avoid lines at the ticket windows, fans are encouraged to order digital tickets in advance. Gameday policies for the 2020 season will be released at a later date.
