MANHATTAN, Kansas – K-State (14-4, 4-2 Big 12) will face its fifth Associated Press top-15 opponent this season, as the Wildcats host (14/19) Oklahoma on Sunday at 1 p.m.

• Sunday's game will air on ESPNU, as Brenda VanLengen (play-by-play) and Holly Warlick (analyst) will have the call.
• K-State's five-win improvement from the 2020-21 season is the second largest win improvement in the Jeff Mittie era and the 11th time in program history in which K-State has increased its win total by five or more wins from one season to the next.
• The Wildcats have been led this season by junior Ayoka Lee and freshman Serena Sundell. Lee, a 2022 All-America candidate, leads the nation for total points scored (424) and is fourth in the nation in scoring average (23.6 ppg). She also leads the nation in field goals made (177) and is second in blocked shots (63), third for blocks per game (3.5) and fourth in double-doubles (12). She leads the Big 12 in field goal percentage (.580).
• Sundell, a candidate for Big 12 Freshman of the Year, is second on the team in scoring (10.6 ppg) and leads the Wildcats in 3-point field goals made (32). She is second in the Big 12 in total assists (105) and assists per game (5.8).

1. Rejection
• Kansas State has tallied 110 blocked shots (6.1 bpg) this season and rank fifth in the nation for total blocks. The Wildcats lead the Big 12 in blocks per game and total blocks. K-State needs 14 blocks to surpass its total from the 2020-21 season (123).
2. Lee in Rare Air
• Junior center Ayoka Lee, a Wooden Award Midseason Top-25 candidate, is the only player in the nation averaging 20 or more points, 10 or more rebounds and 3 or more blocks this season.
3. The D is the Key
• K-State has held its opponents to 56.4 points per game and a .350 field goal percentage. The Wildcats lead the Big 12 in field goal percentage defense and ranks second in scoring defense.
4. High Efficiency Dishes
• The Wildcats have 337 assists (18.7 apg) and an assisted shot rate of 71.7 percent this season. According to HerHoopStats.com, K-State ranks second in the nation in assisted shot rate and are the highest ranked Power 5 member in the category.

• K-State center Ayoka Lee has recorded a combined 89 blocks and steals (63 blocks/26 steals) this season. The total of 89 is the second-highest of her career and leads all players in the Big 12.
• The 2022 Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year candidate has established a new career-high for steals with 26 and her second-high single-season blocks total with 63.
• This season, Lee has registered a combination of five or more blocks and steals in a game 11 times including three games with a season-high of 8. 
• Lee's career single-season high for combined blocks and steals came in the 2019-20 season when she tallied a total of 115 (91 blocks/24 steals).

• K-State has continued to be a force on the defensive end during head coach Jeff Mittie's eight seasons on the bench.
• In the 2021-22 season, the Wildcats are limiting opponents to 56.44 points per game and a field goal percentage of .350. 
• K-State leads the Big 12 and ranks 42nd in the nation and 13th among Power 5 conference members in scoring defense. The Wildcats lead the Big 12 and rank 21st in the nation in field goal percentage defense. The Cats are third in the Big 12 in 3-point field goal percentage defense (.278).
• During the last 19 seasons, K-State is 120-3 (.976) when holding an opponent to 49 points or less including a 39-0 mark in the Mittie era.

Three is not a Crowd, It's a Benefit

• In her career, Lee has scored 1,358 points in 72 career games (18.9 ppg). Her career scoring average of 18.9 ranks first in school history and seventh among active NCAA Division I players. She was the 44th player in school history with 1,000 or more career points and ranks 13th on the K-State career scoring list.
• This season, Lee is averaging a career-best 23.6 points per game which ranks fourth in the nation. Lee leads the nation in total points scored (424). Lee is the only player in the nation averaging 20.0+ points, 10.0+ rebounds and 3.0+ blocks. 
• Lee is the fifth player in school history with three or more consecutive seasons with 400 or more points in a season.
• Her 23.6 points per game this season is the highest per game average in school history and is the third time a K-State player has averaged 20 or more points in a season and first since Brittany Chambers in the 2012-13 season.
• Lee's 285 points in non-conference play this season are the seventh-most points scored in non-conference play by a K-State player since at least 2000-01.
• According to HerHoopStats.com, Lee leads the nation in PER (47.5) and is second in Win Shares (7.7). PER measures a player's value based on their box score stats. Win Shares are and advanced statistic that approximates the total number of wins a player produces for their team through their play on the offensive and defensive ends of the court.
• During the 2020-21 season, Lee averaged a career-best 19.1 points per game while scoring a career-high 478 points. She ranked seventh in the Big 12 and 41st in the nation in scoring.
• According to HerHoopStats.com, Lee led the Big 12 and ranked third in the nation in PER (39.9).

Lee The Queen of the Block
• Ayoka Lee remains one of the top shot blockers in the nation and has the numbers to back it up.
• In her career, Lee has 203 career blocked shots and ranks fourth in school history for career blocks. She needs two blocks to pass Nicole Ohlde (2000-04; 204) for third on the K-State career blocks list.
• She is the fourth player in school history to reach the 200 block mark. She owns the school record for career blocks per game at 2.82. Among active NCAA Division I players, Lee ranks fifth for career blocks per game average.
• She has 52 career games with two or more blocks and 15 career games with five or more blocks. She owns the school record for career games with five or more blocks. Lee holds the school record for career games with seven or more blocks (4).
• This season, Lee has 63 blocks (3.5 bpg) and is second in the nation in total blocks and third in blocks per game. Her total of 63 blocks ranks tied for eighth in school history for blocks in a season.  This is the second time in her career Lee has reached 50 or more blocks in a season. She has eight games this season with four or more blocks.
• She needs 20 blocked shots to set the school record for blocks in a junior season.
• Lee set a new career-high and tied for second in program history for a single-game with eight blocks against North Dakota State on Nov. 29. Her eight blocks are tied for the fourth-highest total for a single-game this season in the nation and are the most by a Big 12 player.
• In the 2020-21 season, Lee blocked 49 shots (1.96 bpg) in the 2020-21 season. She ranked second in the Big 12 for blocks per game and was 29th in the nation for total blocks.
• Lee registered a career-high seven blocked shots against Kansas on February 13 and against Texas Tech on March 11.
• With the seven blocks, Lee is the sixth player to block seven or more shots in a game and is tied for the third-most blocks in a game in school history. Her seven blocks against Texas Tech set the school record for blocks in a Big 12 Championship game.
