Mar 25, 2022 | Track & Field

AUSTIN, Texas – The Kansas State track and field team were named champions of the men's distance medley relay on Friday (March 25) at the Texas Relays.

"Field event wise, (Kade) McCall, (Jasmine) Greer, (Emma) Robbins and (Velecia) Williams all had solid outings," said Director of Track and Field and Cross Country Cliff Rovelto. "The 4x400 relays ran well this morning to qualify for the finals. The women's sprint medley was solid and men's distance medley relay ran smart and competed well. (Kyle) Gale split 45.3 in the morning and came back to split 44.6 in the DMR in the evening. We have a lot of stuff going on tomorrow, here in Austin, San Marcos and Emporia. Hopefully we have solid efforts everywhere."
