MANHATTAN, Kansas - K-State (3-6-1, 0-3-0 Big 12) will play four of its next five matches at Buser Family Park, as the Wildcats return to its home pitch for a pair of matches in Week 7. 

• The Wildcats welcome in (25) Texas Tech (7-2-1, 2-0-1) on Thursday at 7 p.m., and end the weekend on Sunday by hosting UCF (3-1-3, 1-0-1) at 12 p.m.
• Both matches can be seen live on ESPN+, as Brian Smoller (play-by-play), Oscar Montenegro (analyst) and Sophie Smith (sideline) will have the call.

Last Time Out
• In Week 6 of the season, K-State dropped a pair of road matches.
• To open the week, the Wildcats dropped a 2-0 decision at West Virginia.
• In its Sunday matchup at Cincinnati, K-State carded an early second half equalizer but the Bearcats tallied the winner in the 68th minute for the 2-1 win.
- K-State's goal came from junior Paige Dickson, as she converted a 28-yard attempt in the run of play for her first career goal.
- Dickson's goal ended a shutout stretch for the K-State offense at 412:10 of game time and four matches in total.
- Junior goalkeeper Murphy Sheaff registered 11 total saves (six at West Virginia; five at Cincinnati) in the weekend. This was Sheaff's fifth and sixth matches this season and the 13th and 14th of her K-State career with five or more saves.

• Texas Tech (7-2-1, 2-0-1 Big 12) is unbeaten in its last six matches (5-0-1), including a 2-0 road win at then-12th-ranked Oklahoma State on Sunday.
• The Red Raiders are 7-0-4 in its last 11 Big 12 road matches with its last road loss in league play coming in 2021.
• Texas Tech is led on the sideline by 17th-year head coach Tom Stone. During his time in Lubbock, Stone has guided the squad to a 194-94-47 record.
• The Red Raiders are led in scoring this season by Peyton Parsons with seven goals and two assists, while Taylor Zdrojewski has chipped in with five goals and one assist.

At a Glance: UCF
• UCF (3-1-3, 1-0-1 Big 12) will make the Sunflower State swing this weekend, as they will face Kansas on Thursday before matching up with the Wildcats.
• The Knights had a unique Week 6, as they had a no contest at Iowa State due to lightning and a home draw with Arizona State.
• UCF is led on the sideline by 12th-year head coach Tiffany Roberts Sahaydak. During her time in Orlando, Roberts Sahaydak owns a record of 121-56-29.
• The Knights are led in scoring by Chloe Netzel with eight goals and an assist.

Cats Score a Litter of Goals
• K-State has outpaced its goal production from a season ago.
• The Wildcats have scored 13 goals, which stands at 1.30 goals per game. The 32 goals have surpassed the 2023 season total of 11.
• The 13 goals have been scored by nine different players which is the fifth-most in program history. All four classifications have scored at least one goal and have been led by the sophomores with six.
• K-State tied the school record for goals in a match and set the school record for goals scored at Buser Family Park with six goals against Green Bay on Aug. 29.
• In its history, K-State reached the 100-goals scored milestone in its seventh season of action as the triple-digit tally was scored at Weber State in a 1-0 win on September 1, 2022, and was scored by Marisa Weichel.
• As a program, the Wildcats have seen 42 players register at least one career goal and the overall goal total stands at 134.
• K-State set the single-season record for goals with 20 in the 2021 season.

Happy Helpers
• K-State has been in a giving mood this season, as the Wildcats have handed out 14 assists on 13 goals which is 1.40 assists per game.
• The 14 assists are tied for third-most in a season in program history. Of the 14 assists, 11 different players have tallied at least one which is the second most in program history behind the record of 12 in 2021.
• K-State has scored one unassisted goal this season, a free kick from Ryann Reynolds at Portland State on Aug. 22.
• During Week 3 of the season against Green Bay and South Dakota, the Wildcats recorded 11 assists on nine goals with six assists against the Phoenix and five against the Coyotes. The six assists against Green Bay tied the school record for assists in a match.
• Among active Wildcats, five players rank among the top-12 in school history for career assists: Adah Anderson (5; tied for 6th), Porter List (4; tied for 9th), Riley Baker (4; tied for 9th), Kiran Singh (4, tied for 9th), Kenzi Gillispie (3; tied for 12th) and Jo Sees (3; tied for 12th).

We Sees You, Jo
• Sophomore forward Jo Sees continues her ascent up the K-State career points list.
• With an assist on K-State's goal at Cincinnati, Sees tied for the team lead in assists (2) this season and tied for 12th in program history for career assists (3).
• For her career, Sees owns four goals, three assists and 11 points. She is 10th for career points, tied for seventh in school history for career goals and is fifth for goals per game (0.15).
• Sees added her name to the 2024 stat sheet during Week 3 action.
• Against Green Bay on Aug. 29, Sees registered a goal and an assist. This tied her career-high for points in a match with her efforts against UTSA on Aug. 24, 2023.
• The product of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, ended the 2023 season atop K-State's scoring ledger, as she was tied for the team lead in goals (3) and led the squad in points (7). She was the first freshman since Brookelynn Entz in 2017 to lead K-State in points.
• Her seven points were fourth-most in a freshman season in program history.
• Sees was the third K-State freshman in program history to score three or more goals.

Jazmin on the Back Line
• Centerback Jazmin Brown remains a staple along the K-State backline.
• This season, Brown has played in all 10 matches with seven starts and logged 775 minutes of action, which leads all K-State field players.
• In the 2023 season, Brown played 1,616 of a possible 1,620 minutes. Brown's minutes total ranked fifth in school history for minutes played in a single season and was a career-high.
• In her three seasons, Brown has played a total of 3,866 minutes which is 91.4 percent (4,230:00) of the available minutes in the last 47 matches K-State has played.
• Among field players in the 2022 season, Brown was fourth on the team and first among freshmen in minutes played with 1,476 during her 19 matches played and 18 starts.
• Among freshmen in program history, Brown was the ninth freshman to surpass the 1,000 minutes played mark and set the school record for minutes played in their debut season.

Blank Sheaff
• Junior goalkeeper Murphy Sheaff has added a trio of shutouts to her career ledger during K-State's non-conference slate.
• At Portland State on Aug. 22, Sheaff made six saves to record her first shutout of 2024. Against South Dakota on Sept. 1, Sheaff made two saves for her second shutout this season. Her final shutout of non-con play came at Arkansas State on Sept. 5, a six-save performance.
• Sheaff owns 12 shutouts in her collegiate career, notching seven at K-State and five at Jacksonville. She ranks fourth in school history for career shutouts.
• Against 19th-ranked Colorado on Sept. 12, Sheaff recorded a season-high 12 saves. The effort equaled her career-high for saves in a match and tied for the second-most saves in a match in program history. 
• The product of Sunshine Coast, Australia, has 14 matches at K-State with five or more saves. Sheaff has 136 saves in her K-State career and ranks third in program history for career saves.
• For the season, Sheaff leads the Big 12 and ranks 22nd in the nation with 54 saves and ranks second in the Big 12 for saves per game (5.40) She is 17th in the nation for goalie minutes at 900:00.
• In the 2023 season Sheaff finished her first season in the Little Apple by playing in and starting all 18 matches. Her total minutes in frame (1,590:29) ranked fourth in school history for a single season.
• She faced the second most shots in a single season (291) in program history and the most by a K-State keeper since 2017.
• Sheaff carded the fourth-best goals against average in a single season in school history (1.30). Her 82 saves were also the fourth most in a single season.
• Sheaff was second in the Big 12 and ranked 71st in the nation for total saves (82) and was second in the league for saves per game (4.56).
• She was second in school history for shutouts in a sophomore season (4).
• At BYU on October 10, Sheaff recorded a career-high 12 saves. Her 12 saves were the most in a match last season by any goalkeeper in the Big 12. She tied for the second-most saves in a match in program history and were the most since Alaina Werremeyer set the school record with 13 against Baylor on October 10, 2021. 
• Early in the 2023 season, Sheaff carded a career-best streak and school record of 416:44 of shutout soccer. This surpassed her previous high of 325:28 last season at Jacksonville.
• She hauled in five saves at 18th-ranked Northwestern on August 20 to register the first of three straight shutouts.
• Sheaff was the second goalkeeper in program history to card a shutout against a ranked opponent, joining Alaina Werremeyer's 2021 shutout of 23rd-ranked Baylor.
