CAREER: A
physical linebacker who has played a majority of his career as a
starter before being used extensively on special teams and as a backup
linebacker as a senior... A former walk-on who started 21 games over his
first three seasons in Manhattan.

First Team Academic All-Big 12 selection… Made one tackle on special
teams against Kent State… Carded four tackles against Kansas and made
two more against Oklahoma State.

Third Team Midseason All-Big 12 performer by Phil Steele... Also earned
First Team Academic All-Big 12 honors... Finished the regular season
third on the team in tackles with 77 despite missing two games due to
injury... Ranked 17th in the Big 12 with 7.0 tackles per game... Ranked
10th in the Big 12 but tops among linebackers with nine passes
defended... Began the season with a career high 12 tackles against UCLA,
while he also hit double digits vs. both UCF?and Nebraska (10)... Had
nine stops against Iowa State and eight against both Missouri State and
Kansas... Also had a tackle for loss and three pass break ups vs. the
Bears.

Had a great game against Tennessee Tech, carding 10 stops, while
tallying 3.0 TFLs... Topped double-digits in tackles for the
2nd-straight game against Iowa State, tying his career high with 11
tackles, a K-State season high... Became the first Wildcat since 2006 to
record back-to-back double-digit tackle games... Turned in 4 tackles at
Texas Tech and another 4 stops and one pass break up vs. UMass... Had 3
tackles at Oklahoma, including one for a loss.

action in all 12 games and started the final six at linebacker...
Finished second on the team with 68 tackles... Averaged 8.2 tackles per
game over the final seven contests after averaging just two tackles per
game the first five games... Recorded at least nine tackles the final
four games... Tallied a career-best 11 tackles vs. Iowa State -
including 1.5 sacks - and returned his first career interception 51
yards... Had nine tackles against Nebraska... Collected 10 tackles at
Missouri, besting his previous best of nine at Kansas... Also had one
sack against the Tigers... Earned his first-career start at Colorado as
he carded six tackles and one pass breakup... Followed that with a
seven-tackle effort against Oklahoma... Also had six takedowns,
including one for a loss, at Texas A&M... Recorded five stops

HIGH SCHOOL: A
four year letterwinner at Oakville High School...Totaled 80 tackles in
2005 and 2006... Awarded team defensive player of the year honors in
2006... Awarded all-state honorable mention honors... Selected
all-conference in 2006... Coached by Arlee Conners... A two-year
letterwinner in baseball where he earned all-conference and all-state
honorable mention honors.
