a sophomore in 2010, collecting 37 tackles, including three sacks, en
route to Mississippi Association of Community & Junior Colleges
(MACJC) honorable mention honors... Saw action in seven games as a
freshman in 2009 when he tallied 26 tackles, including one sack...
Orginally signed with Southern Miss out of high school, and chose
K-State over offers from Auburn, Memphis, Miami, Mississippi and
Mississippi State.
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Franklin HS under head coach Grady McCluskey... Recorded 85 tackles, 10 sacks and two fumble recoveries en route to being named the Region 7-3A Defensive Player of the Year in 2007... Helped team win the state championship in 2006 and reached the final in 2007... Named to the Daily Leader all-area team and the Natchez Democrat all-metro team...
