two seasons at Butler CC under head coach Roy Morrell... Earned
All-America honors as a kicker and punter during his sophomore season of
2009, averaging 41.8 yards per punt, hitting 13-for-15 field goals and
40-for-41 extra points... Named first-team all-conference and all-region
as a freshman in 2008, leading the Grizzlies to an undefeated season
and national championship... Was 16-for-20 on field goals and 41-for-42
on extra points as a freshman... A two-time all-conference and
all-region honoree... Holds the record for the longest punt in NJCAA
history, an 82-yarder... Earned academic all-America accolades as a
sophomore.
HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered
four years at Leavenworth High School, the final year under Chad
Speer... Was a team captain as a junior and senior... Was also the
team's quarterback and strong safety... Lettered four years in
wrestling, winning state his junior year... Also lettered three years in
track and one year in baseball... Graduated in the top 2.5-percent of
his class and was a Kansas Regents Scholar.

U.S. Army and played soccer at Kansas... Mother, Stacey, was a gymnast
for the Jayhawks... Has three siblings, Layne, Saxony and Lucas...
Brother, Lucas, was a kicker at Sam Houston State.
