CAREER (Click Here for Career Stats): A high-motor linebacker who played parts of five seasons... Played in 49 career games with 16-consecutive starts to end his career... Suffered from a brain tumor after the first game of 2014, but underwent a procedure that removed the tumor and allowed him to still play football... Received a medical redshirt to play four full seasons... Was a member of five bowl teams – including two victories – and the 2012 Big 12 Championship as he helped the Wildcats earn a 43-22 record during his five years.
2016 (Click Here for Game-by-Game Stats): Started all 13 games, tying for second on the team with 75 tackles, including 4.0 tackles for loss and three fumble recoveries en route to Honorable Mention All-Big 12 honors from the league’s coaches... Also earned second team honors from Pro Football Focus... Tied for eighth nationally and second in the Big 12 with this three fumble recoveries, which included a 35-yard return at Stanford... Recorded at least five tackles in each of his final nine contests, including a season-high eight at Iowa State... On the preseason watch list for the Butkus Award.
2015 (Click Here for Game-by-Game Stats): Played in 12 games, including starts in the final three contests... Totaled 55 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, 3.0 sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery... Had a stellar final four games as he averaged 10.8 tackles per game after just a 1.5 average in the first eight games of the year... Recorded a career-best 17 tackles – including 16 solo stops – 4.0 TFLs and 2.0 sacks against West Virginia en route to Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week honors... His 16 solo stops were tied for the most nationally during the 2015 season and were the most by a Wildcat since at least 1990... He bettered his previous career-high of 10 tackles against Iowa State, which included a sack, while he recovered a fumble that led to the game-winning field goal... Earned his first-career start at Kansas, coming away with six stops and a half TFL... Finished the year with 10 tackles in the 2016 AutoZone Liberty Bowl against Arkansas, which tied for seventh in K-State bowl history.
2014 (Click Here for Game-by-Game Stats): Played against Stephen F. Austin, recording two tackles... Did not see any more action the rest of the season... Received a medical hardship to regain the year of eligibility.
2013 (Click Here for Game-by-Game Stats): Played in every game and totaled seven tackles, including two sacks, and a pass breakup... Registered a season-high two tackles with a sack and a forced fumble against Michigan in the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl.
2012 (Click Here for Game-by-Game Stats):Played in 10 games... Had four tackles, including two against Kansas when he also forced a fumble on a Jayhawk kickoff return... Also had stops vs. North Texas and Oregon.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Skyline under head coach Reginald Samples... Helped lead the Raiders to a 9-3 overall record (7-0 league) during the 2010 season... A two-time all-district pick... Named one of the top 100 players in the state of Texas prior to senior season... Teammate of former Wildcat defensive end Marquel Bryant.
PERSONAL: Charmeachealle (sure-MIKE-you-well) D Moore was born January 30, 1993, in Dallas, Texas... Son of Shannon Moore and the late Charmeachealle Moore... Has one sibling... Father, Charmeachealle, lettered in football at Baylor in 1990... Graduated from Kansas State in December 2014 with a degree in Family Studies and Human Services.
